Charity: I am a 74 year old white woman. I have never experienced the prejudices you have but I can relate to all the problems of our country. Being a woman and a lesbian has its own prejudices to deal with so I can relate a bit. One correction to you . . . the government does not set gas prices . . . the gas companies do and are a very greedy lot. Sometimes I look around me, watch the news and wonder what has happened to this country. It is frightening and I'm glad that I will soon be in Heaven. I would suggest that you do whatever you can, no matter how little, to help make our country a better place. Your poem is moving, strong and frightening. Linda

You did a credible job of chronicling the woes, shortcomings, and treachery of the world. Sadly, I don't think your ultimate request will be answered to satisfaction. But your poem is thought-worthy, and I hope it may fall heavy on at least one offender and set them on a better course.

The objective correlative of your work reminisces a dying world occasioned by dwindling norms cum values and the need to bring back alive lives lost.
The work highlights an all- locale encompassing nature of the untoward dimensions and the need for restoration.
The work earns its texture though its effective use of rhymes, onomatopoeias, similes, metaphors and imagery.

I'll start by commending your title - that could be a poem in itself. There plenty to admire in here - particularly the anger at the judgemental congregation. Sometimes, we let resentment be a driving force and that can be cathartic. Nicely done.
