A nice little contemplative piece. A walk in the woods is always a mind clearing experience. Sometimes I even stray from the path and wander into places I have never been.

Robert Frost. That?s where my mind went, too. Thank you so much for taking the time to review the piece.

Hello Belinda,
Thanks for sharing this reminder that we all need to stop and smell the roses. With all the bad news we are constantly bombarded with, we need that time alone with God to refresh ourselves and get the strength to go through each trial that every day brings. Well done gal.
Have a blessed evening.

Thank you for sharing this poem. The world is a sad place these days. We never know what is going to happen from day to day. Our young children are in jeopardy. Schools are dangerous to attend. The world needs an intervention.

I couldn?t agree more. Lately, I just keep focused on Him. It helps. Thank you so much for the review.

You are welcome.

I like that this piece slows down as it progresses, taking more time to consider its subject as time itself is presented as an increasingly finite resource and a source of opportunities missed. A very pensive and interesting poem.
