A significant part 3, my friend Ric, things are picking up, and I'm excited to see part 4. I love your quirky style; it's engaging and character-building. Thank you for the read, my friend. Best JohnC

Thanks, John, for tuning in to part 3, your generous review, and kind comments. I'm a goof who entertains myself with my foolish farces. Old, broke down, and unable to keep up the pace of the past, I live through my pen, and iced tea, and my La-Z-Boy. Much appreciate, my friend! Ric

You can keep the iced tea, but I'll take the pen and the La-Z-Boy.

Ric Myworld
Here I am finished reading part 3 of Tucker at Poker Night (Part-3)
Let me say you have an ingenious way of keeping me wanting to read about a Texas Hold'em buy-in is $5,000, with a $5,000 one-time re-buy. Not a poor boy's game. Twenty-seven tables, nine-seats per, and if every player re-buys, the total payout equals $2,430,000."
I like how describe the characters your colorful way you described Tammy. Now do I need to read your previous chapters?

Gert

Thank you so much, Gert Sherwood, for your generous review and kind words. I haven't seen you around for a while, but it's always nice to see your name pop up. I don't want to blow my own horn, but I like to think that each part is important in creating the characters and getting the jest of the whole story. So, yes, I think you will find each part entertaining and helpful to where the next parts of the story are going, which I don't even know yet. LOL. I always appreciate getting your reviews!

Boy would that be alarming being told to skidaddle from a place wouldn't be easy to take, but I've never been in places like that, but I can imagine. An excellent post Ric, this covered the gamut of descriptive imagery and awakened the imagination of the divish level of activities going on. An excellent post my friend, blessings Roy

You held me captive, mesmerized by every word. I couldn't read fast enough. Your descriptions are phenomenally clear and often humorous. You put me in the club. I could see the players and hear the crowd, like watching a movie. Then you left me hanging onto a thread at the end, about to fall off. I hope I can hang on until you post Part 4. I'm loving this story.

Thank you so much, Lorraine, for your extra-special six-star review and kind words. I'm glad I could put you in the action and make you feel like you were there. Of course, I hate having to pare down these parts and kill the momentum to keep the parts short enough. LOL. It's always a pleasure when those I read and enjoy regularly can be entertained by my foolishness. I appreciate YOU!

Like the descriptions like "door ornaments" for ticket takers.

Seems a lot of action occurs at this joint.

Really like the first paragraph, just tells readers a lot is yet to come so do not run off until you read this.

So well written.

Ric,

I love your style. There are so many great phrases that I can't begin to pick the best. It's enough to say that I could easily envision every scene and character. Can't wait to find out what is going down next!

Thank you so much, Susan, for your generous review, kind words, and suggestions that always help me to knock a little of the dumb off my stories. I don't even think that physic is a word, is it? Well, at least I keep you sharp, since you never know what kind of silly blunder I might come up with next. LOL. Much appreciated!
reply by Susan Newell on 14-May-2022
Always welcome, Ric. Yes, physic is a word. The times I've heard it used was as a cure for constipation. :-) Look it up.

ROFL! Cure for constipation . . . huh, at least I'm good for something.

I love your fast moving story. There is no lagging, and I didn't see any mistakes. You do a great job, even if you don't edit. Have a wonderful Saturday. Shirley

Thank you so much, Shirley, for joining in to read another of my silly out-of-control farces. I'm just a goofy old boy who writes foolishness to keep myself entertained, since I've gotten too old to live it. Much appreciated!

It sounds as though he thinks the place is going to blow up. Nothing would surprise me in a place like that. Wow. You do a good job of show don't tell, Ric. Well done. Nancy:)

You pack your stories with some very interesting characters and a lot of action. It is sounds like a dangerous place to be and only for those with mega-bucks Something big is about to happen and Tucker wants Tammy Jo out of the danger zone.
