You have covid!!?? Well, we can all rest in the assurance that it's not the death sentence it was in pre-vaccination times. Still and all, please take care of yourself, Sandra. We need you here.

And please don't be in any hurry to answer this.

I only found the teeniest of things, and it's only a maybe:

'Is thinking it would be fun ..." [Don't you want an apostrophe after the "I" in "Is"]

Thank you, dear Jay! I've felt really rough for a while, but last night I had my first full sleep in over a week. Even though I still feel very tired, I know I must be getting a bit better. I'm surprised, and very pleased, you only found that 'teeniest' error, lol. It might be small but it made a huge difference to the way the sentence read. I've made the correction. Thank you so very much, my friend. You've put a big smile on my face. The golden star is a bonus. Love and hugs, my friend. (I hope to read your chapter today.) Sandra xxxx

I enjoyed this fun chapter--fun for some and not fun for one in particular, Sandra. You did a great job, considering the fact you had the virus. I pray you are recovering. I like the way Margot has a difficult time not laughing out loud at Mr. Cranky. You described the part about the picture well. I could see it as I read. It was great to see Margot be more involved with her 'take charge attitude.' She really showed that when she returned and demanded more answers. I believe e she will keep at it to find the truth. In the end, her father will come out with a repaired reputation and the solicitor and others involved in ruining him will be found out. You still are teasing readers as to what the evidence is--a good thing. I look forward to reading the next chapter for more of this captivating story.
One minor nit near the beginning--
'Is( I's ) thinking it would be fun if'n he

Best wishes on a speedy recovery to you and hubby.
Respectfully, Jan

Aw, thank you, Jan, I'm so pleased you enjoyed this chapter. With my head and chest all over the place, it took a long time to write, but it was fun writing Margot and Bessie's part in it. Now they have a lot of work to do. Thanks, my friend, and thank you for the get well wishes. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry to hear you have Covid, Sandra! I hope you're not dangerously sick with it. You've done an excellent job with this chapter. It was fun to read about how Margot and Bessie played Cranston-Smythe. I didn't find any errors. I do hope you're feeling better soon. Hugs

Hi Judy, thank you, no, not dangerously sick, I've had all my vaccinations so that has helped. But I feel so tired, and keep coughing which really hurts my chest. But I had a good nights sleep last night which was wonderful.
Thank you for this lovely review, it's was fun to write, but it took me the whole week to write a few lines at a time. I'm so pleased you enjoyed Margot and Bessie's fun with the crooked solicitor. And thank you for the golden star! That really has given me a boost. Thanks, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xx

You?re welcome, Sandra. Happy to hear you?re not gravely ill. I had a two day cough on the weekend and worried because we?d been visiting elderly and frail friends, so I did a test. Fortunately it was negative and the cough was gone the next day.

Wow! You did this while you were still sick and I didn't find any errors but had such a satisfying feeling that Margot was able to get a bit of revenge with Bessie's help. However, Mr. Cranky is remaining tight-lipped and perhaps exposing all the wrongdoings might in fact bring shame on both Meg's and Miles's families...

It took me all week to write it. I didn't realise it was Covid until my brother said I looked and sounded terrible, thats when I had the test. Now I know why I couldn't concentrate for long. It's not nice.
I'm so grateful to you for such a lovely review, my friend, thank you. Love and hugs. Sandra xxx

Oh, Sandra, this was a wonderful chapter, and a very satisfying one. I would have loved to be in that office with Margot. She really got the better of him. But now what is my next burning question. I can't wait for the answer. A big hug, Ullaxxx

Aw, thank you, Ulla! I'm so pleased you enjoyed Margot's actions. I enjoyed writing that part. It's taken me so long to put it together though. I'm so tired! Thank you, sweet friend, for the golden sixth star!! Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

I can tell there is a lot more that the ladies do not know. It may be, that knowing the truth and getting out will cause more harm than good. Things aren't always black and white. They need full confessions. Then decide what to do.

Very good. The intrigue builds. Good action scene. Seeing things float in the air by a 'supposed' ghost was a nice touch.

This is the problem about going back and trying to get to the truth. Margot and Bessie will have to take that on board. Thank you so much for another of your lovely reviews. I really appreciate all you say, Lance, and the golden sixth star. Warm hugs, my friend. Sandra xx

Sandra I'm so sorry you are I'll. I had Covid in November. It was mild, but I didn't like losing my taste and smell. I was pretty tired feeling too and it took a long time to feel my energy come back. It was right before our Thanksgiving celebration which I was hosting for ten. It was cancelled and I think my husband threw in a frozen pizza that night for dinner. I hope you start feeling better, but don't rush anything. It controls you.
I fell behind on your book because of things going on again with my mother's health. She's had two severe UTIs in the last two months. The problem with elderly women is that they don't have normal feelings that might let you know "hey I need to check this out." Instead they have a complete change in their mood and behavior, almost like Dr Jeckle and Mr. Hyde. It happens fast too. Within 12 hours she went from her normal self to a frightened, combative, unreasonable person, but with child like reactions. She would refuse to let them put a new IV in and shake her head back and forth across the pillow, no no no I don't want it. It was a couple of harrowing days before the antibiotic kicks in and she starts coming back to normal. Now that I know for sure when this happens what it is, I can react, but there isn't much I can do to prevent it.
Now I'm caught up on a fantastic mystery fantasy story. Oh I did love Meg and Bessie playing around with Mr. Cranky. Great nickname! There are so many possible suspects, each with a twisted reason for Meg's death. I think it would be kind of cool to be able to go back in time for a short period. See the clothes, the grandeur, the opulence, but there are so many inventions and progress that have come about i.e. running water, indoor plumbing, jeans and tee-shirts, automobiles, that making the change back would be a no-brainer. I like the way the story is progressing and I'm already rooting for Miles and Meg to end up back together and all those guilty getting what is coming to them.
Please rest and take care of yourself. Hugs and many get well wishes. Sally

You have really been through it, haven't you? You poor thing. Now I have it I can understand how people felt with they found they had Covid. It's nasty.
How upsetting that must have been seeing your poor mother like that, it has to be frightening for her, too. As we age so our independence goes, as more illnesses come, and other nasties. Growing old isn't for the weak.
With all that going on, I'm suprised you managed to come and read my chapter. You're really lovely, my friend. I might have Covid, but I don't have all that you have going on to worry about. But thank you, Sally, I appreciate it all the more. I'm so chuffed you're still enjoying my book. Thank you, dear friend, and a big, social distancing, hug for the sixth star!! Love and hugs. Sandra xx

Oh my poor friend. I had it the first half of January and have been getting over it ever since. I know what you are going through. I hope you and Graham will recover quickly and fully. God bless you. This chapter was fun. Meg and Bessie sure scared Mr. Cranky Smyth. If he tells anyone they will think he is insane. Well done. Nancy:)

It's horrid, isn't it? I've never felt so tired. It certainly takes a lot out of you. My chest hurts, and I'm using my nebuliser and inhalers, but I'm still finding it hard going. Graham and I are managing between us, though. Writing is helping, but it's slow going, and I'm worried about the amount of errors I might make. I hope you are a lot better now, my friend.
I'm glad you liked this chapter, and liked what they did with that crooked solicitor. Now to find out about that suicide note. How? I haven't a clue!! Thank you again for another lovely review and for that golden star! Love and hugs, my friend. Sandra xxx

So sorry you have Covid and pray for a speedy recovery. I have a grammar observation: change the sentence to You know that as well as I do, or You knew that as well as I did. I think you knew as well as I do is a tense change. Otherwise, the plot thickens ...

This was great, another fantastic continuation chapter, Sandra. Boy, did Margot give it to the barrister, Mr Crankston-Smythe. I loved that Bessie thought of her ghostly character, portraying Lord Crawley. Then Margot re-entered the office of Mr Crankston-Smythe to announce that she wasn't Lady Margaret but she would certainly see his demise. Very well done, greatly enjoyed. Blessings, hugs n smiles.
