This is a nicely written poem with a great flow and rhyme scheme.
Majestic ridges wrapped in mist --wild mountain flora at my feet.A Warbler sings, a Cardinal calls with melodies both loud and sweet. Very lovely presentation. Photo compliments your words well. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you Aussie for your thoughtful and encouraging review. This one is written in iambic tetrameter and ABCB rhyme meaning that the 2nd and 4th lines must rhyme. I love this form. It seems to work best for me. So pleased that you liked this one.

Given such idyllic settings I could fall in love with someone I did not care for that much beforehand. You get a sense of what the Garden of Eden must have looked like back in the beginning. Which in turn makes you wonder how they could have so easily given it all up for a bite of forbidden fruit. Eat an orange or a peach for crying out loud.
