Sounds like this made your day. I can imagine it did, it is always nice to be a winner. Or did you win? Imaginary flight? I too have felt a sense of what it might be like....only to find it eludes me. You clearly are an amazing writer so good luck in the future!

Congratulations. As I do not wish to get caught up in being ultra competitive, I resist the urge to enter many contests. I prefer to just enjoy the outlet that writing allows me. To have something that I have written receive widespread praise and popularity is prize enough for me. Therefore, I highly prize and appreciate the honest critiques I receive on my writing.
