A good summary of man's short comings. Why is there so much judgment? It's this built into our generic makeup? I think not. It seems simple to me: love first, don't judge, think of everybody as relatives - because we are.
There's much wisdom in your words here; a great piece of wise writing. I'd give a six of I had one

The words of the pop song "The Living Years" came to mind as I read this:
"Every generation blames the one before . . . ." (stanza 1 of poem especially). The next generation will blame ours! As your skillfully written, expressive poem says, we fail to gain wisdom while making our judgments if we fail to love others and rely on God.

Roy: keep dancing my friend! Many people are treated unfairly.
We have battlefields in Minnesota - due to the death of George Floyd.
Women are treated as secretaries with the same degree as men who
become bosses in marketing. I know, they did this to me. We have
our stories, that's why we write. Keep being a voice and pray for Ukraine. Gods got this! flylikeaneagle Stars for you! *****************

-Very nice artwork and presentation, Roy.
-Your notes are appreciated.
-You wrote a good poem with effective images and rhyme.
-It's interesting, my poem for this week is called "What If."
-A very good opening verse.
-This is one of your very good lines:
"Are we so thick that we don't know,
that loving ALL will make life flow?"
-The last two verses have very good
messages, making an effective conclusion.
-Well done!

I love the ideas presented in this poem, of how people should but are not conducting themselves. It flows beautifully and makes the reader stop and think. Thanks for sharing. :)

This poem is really spectacular. The flow is very nice and the poem is just the right length. I love the background picture as it relates to your poem. You mention God a lot in your poems. Are you spiritual? You are a great poet! Keep writing

How enlightening to engage with some philosophical thought as these stanzas enable us to do - the big questions still linger there in the shadows whatever else may be claiming our attention - thanks for sharing

Hi, Roy, we as a people are all the same, we all bleed when our heart is cut and die a thousand verbal deaths, we cry as our loved ones fade away, yet they still live in our hearts. We are the same you and I invisible to the arrogant, but we are the same except not arrogant. Thank you for sharing.

We tend to judge others in different lands or different times even though we aren't always right. Thank you for sharing this with us. Keep up the good work. Best wishes.
