Honestly- I cannot understand this type of poetry. I understand that it exists as a form of poetry- my shot at the meaning here - God - pure consciousness is all there is - all else is animated by the light of pure consciousness- therefore- when your body (not the real you- pure consciousness) is reconstituted back into star dust - predecessors will be able to find you everywhere- moonliight - childrens voices ext etc because you will now be pure consciousness. All there is- poem- afar? Or far - used face a couple of times? But there again probably okay in blank verse? Not the best review guy hug

This is a positive poem written in free verse style and presented colorfully with a beautiful sunset picture. While dark clouds may be overhead, the joy of remembering loved ones is heartwarming and joyous. It is a wonderful thing to feel their closeness. This is a lovely posting, Gypsy. :-)

You have written a lovely poem here. The imagery is something I can see, and feel, And hear.
If I were to make any changes, I would change one of the "caresses my face" parts. You have that same phrase in there twice.

What a great poem! Death is a difficult topic to write about, and you have done it in a way that doesn't sound cliché or forced. It has great flow and imagery, and genuinely made me feel calm and comforted.

Thank you very much, Helen, your opinion means a lot to me. I thought about this poem last night while I laid in bed quite awake until 4 am :( sometimes I have trouble falling asleep.

💖 Thanks for sharing. Sometimes the muse is active at night. Hope you caught up on sleep. Does it make a difference what time you take certain medicines / supplements? I know I can't take vitamin D at night or I'll be awake!!

I take antidepressants and mood stabilizer... It does make a difference. Caffeine and and sugar affects them. I had some m&Ms right before I went to bed... I won't make that mistake again. Also I can't drink alcohol but I never do anyway, unless a special occasion and only one drink.

Do you take elderberry? Sambucus? Vitamin C? You need more immune support. Of course, living with little ones means you get exposed to everything!
