I love your story, very well written. I like how you wove the rules for the contest into every part of it, not mentioning certain words or circumstances. What a sweet little girl. It must be your granddaughter, as she looks like your profile picture.

Thank you so much for your astute review. There are getting to be more and more rules for family stories so I just had a bit of fun with this one. Yes, this one is Charlotte, my son's eldest of three girls. The story is of course fiction except we did take her to a sunflower farm.

The story is fiction? But Ellie-Jane is posing so nicely despite the bees! Thanks for sharing the lovely picture and the fun in your story which is also a humorous commentary on the many rules of the contest! Best wishes in it!

Yes, it is fiction. We never had a conversation anything like in the story. Ellie-Jane is a different granddaughter, but this one visited a sunflower farm with us one day, so I used her photo (taken very quickly)! Thanks so much for reviewing.

One can't blame the child, she must be very conscious of the bees, they are usually pretty tame, if you don't bother them, they won't bother you. But that's pretty cool, being photographed alongside those sun chasing sun flowers, beautifully written Wendy, blessings Roy

Thanks Roy. I appreciate your kind words! I can understand as I was stung by a number of wasps last week, not at all pleasant!
