My goodness! He has been taken advantage of in a seriously big way. All your friends seem to be taken advantage of, thinking of Chuck with the tomato thief. I hope Scott shows her the bill, and puts a time limit on her stay. Incredible to make assumptions about and take advantage of people's generosity like Janice has done.

Meantime--the woman's car was stolen, so she can't camp out--fortunately, Scott's house is not in walking distance of her job, so she's staying in a nearby cheap motel--otherwise, she'd have wormed her way inside! Scott was the one with the tomato thief.

Sounds like Scott has his own built in charity, he doesn't need to give to any other. Perhaps he should contact Mrs. Barr and invite her to be charitable by picking up the electric bill. I fear that my generosity would have run out long ago, Christmas season or not.
