I think we all love you dearly, but I don't like to see you upset, I will never judge you or care much about language, there's nothing much I haven't heard anyway, although I won't promise I will enjoy it, well done, blessings Roy

    Thank you!

My fans get my humor--perhaps some readers there would be amused once they got used to my style--but that's moot, because stories such as this wouldn't be accepted to the publication!

I get the best of both worlds here and there--they do take most of my humor pieces as written--indeed, the stickler editor loved one with the swear words.

Haha. In the virtual story land, you have freedom that is not available for the outside world. I'm so glad. I know we all like this virtual bubble so much that I only read stories here at Fanstory nowadays.

Let the this virtual land continue.

Well done.

I have so much fun here! I straddle both worlds--I just have to be careful!

This is a total hoot! Rafaella would be laughing the hardest of all, I'm sure. Less so, Victor. He's kinda stiff-collared, in his way, but definitely fair. I'm surprised he's lasted as long as he has at the helm. I know if Rafaella ever jumps ship you can count on the publication folding in a matter of weeks. It's simply too much for two people to run.

If she jumps ship and you fold--does the archive remain? I don't want my work to disappear! What is the volume of submissions? Perhaps you can reduce the allowance from daily to weekly or whatever it takes to stay afloat.

I cannot believe her dedication--she rarely takes a day off! I submit every day and she's right on it. Victor handles the prompt entries and occasionally others on her rare breaks. As you expected, she graciously declined payment.

No, everything that you write anywhere on Medium is present on your own home page (your cave as I call it). Besides, before he'd close it, he would probably reach out to someone else to take over as owner. What they really need are more editors.

I see that they are listed under "published" vs draft--but will the "back-issues" of GiaB remain available as a collection.
reply by Jay Squires on 22-Nov-2021
Everything you ever wrote will be found under published, INCLUDING, and I hate this, every response you made to someone else's writing. I just don't know why that's there.

Under drafts, everything you've ever written for Medium, but haven't yet published, is there until you remove it.

If you are looking for a specific post you've published and know its title, you can go to the magnifying glass in the upper-righthand corner and put the title in. That's the quickest way when you donm't want to go through all your posts to look for it.

Thanks! I know how to search--I was just wondering if it will still exist in the context of the publication along with others published that day--i.e. as analogus to "back issues" of real papers! I agree as to what you say about all the comments--but I don't select the option publish to profile, so it doesn't happen to me.

I absolutely agree - it makes a world of difference when we know our audience. And here we read each other's writings so we know each other better than our own neighbors. So writing here is so much easier!

Question:
in my behalf (on?) I know you'll teach me something new here but I've only heard "on my behalf."

I posted a piece on the distinction several months ago. I'll try to find it and send a link. Funny, that is one of the two "errors" she cited me for--I tactfully informed her that sources explain the distinction. The other "error" she pointed out was that I had Christian in uppercase!
reply by lyenochka on 22-Nov-2021
really? it's no longer "upper case?" So it's muslim and buddhist now? I get red lines if I write like this...😊
reply by the author on 22-Nov-2021
No--it is uppercase--she thought it should be lowercase!
reply by lyenochka on 22-Nov-2021
Good that you let her know. I think when "christian" is used as an adjective as in "gentlemanly" perhaps? Anyway. Off to bed for me. Have a restful night and give your computer a rest, too! 💖💖

I am amazed she didn't know it has to be Capped. She knows now!
