Hello Roy,
Nice piece of poetry having enchanting flow throughout from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme, and beautifully depicting Marie's life and her elevation to God.
6th and 7th stanza are particularly noteworthy.
Picture complements the theme.

Thank you for sharing about this beautiful saint and thank you for listening to the Lord "spreading His love abroad" right here. You're so right that our worth comes completely from the Lord and what a mighty influence Marie had on earth because of her confidence in Him.

Suggestion:
Yet she believes she is not worth (worthy? or perhaps she has not worth?) since the next line is "to serve"

This is an amazing tribute to your friend, Marie Marafioti. I am glad you got to know her and only wish I did too. She sounds like she was indeed blessed by God and went forth to bless others in His name.

Every now and then, we get to share a bit of these people's lives and are very fortunate to do so as they enrich us beyond compare. I have to say this, Roy...
I consider you one of those people. I know our acquaintance is only over the satellites of the internet but power and healing are in your words. I thank you for that!

It is very well done, can't think of thing that would improve it. I had two thoughts, first I reread it because I thought Jesus was the frozen petrified wood, then I realized it was Marie, my problem, not yours. My second thought was how did you come to write it? I am thinking there is a good story there.
