Hi my friend,
I like your view on writing as God's gift to share.
Your Authors Notes are particularly insightful. I especially these images:
Deep in the canyons of the mind
that screams for sweet release,
I can't contain that precious brew -
a tide that cannot cease.

Your poetry always carries a message. And on most occasions, the message is similar to the one I learned many years from the good old Good Sam Nuns. Sams is short for Samaritans.
Sounds like we answer to the same Boss.
Well done again, Roy

I agree with you there Roy, you dont need riches to be the driving force behind sharing ones gifts. The sharing alone has to be enough and one should be able to take comfort in the reactions their gift generates when the lucky few get to read it : )) Nice!

You've got some really great lines in this poem, Roy. "scribal cauldron"s lust" is unique I'll bet. Your meter and rhyme scheme are excellent, as usual.

Glorious! Stunning and fresh--What stirs the scribal cauldron's lust? Brilliant line. Ditto Truth is next of kin. Clever bait-n-switch into faith theme!

Just so beautifully true Mr. Roy. Funny, I was thinking this exact thing this morning. That if I can write at all, it is surely a God-given gift. Blessings...

No sixes left, but I love your poem and posted authors notes. I agree, everything good is to be lifted up for God's glory. I think an outstanding poem rates pretty high on the list. Blessings always, Roy.

A beautiful ballad Roy. You capture the true spirit of the poet/writer in this lovely verse.
