Being in nature is definitely awareness of a God moment. Your church is majestic and awe-inspiring.
Referring to stained glass and a chalice keep religious imagery in your nature-scape.

This is beautifully written and so very lyrical with words celebrating the beauty of nature as well as its delicacy and power. Worship is due to the "Creator of all things big and small". Well done. Very best wishes for your entry in the contest.

A fine free-write and I feel exactly the same when I walk through the park and witness nature at its best. It is sheer joy to breath in the air and see the flowers, trees and wildlife and it always fills me with awe. I really enjoyed your rich descriptions here, love Dolly x

You're so right that all of nature speaks of the Creator and we can feel the Lord's presence in all that He created.
I liked your unusual verb of "upping" for the raising of hands, and the use of internal rhyme (pray and play) and alliteration.
Best wishes in the contest!

Eeeeek. You misspelled the title.
This is a wonderfully written poem. It is a clear picture of the majesty of nature. It is a blessing to realize the connection of spirituality with nature. It is truly magnificent and inspiring.

Wow poet. This is stunningly beautiful. This is what I call poetry!
Every line is but a work of art.
My favorite stanza...
"As a fine mist falls gently from the heavens,
moving through the sun's rays, a dazzling brilliance of colors,
liken to a skyscape seen through a thousand stained glass arches
consumes the azure horizon." - wow. So very beautiful.
This would have made a great faith poem entry as well.
So sorry I'm out of sixes. Please accept a virtual one.
Good luck in the contest!

Church is not just the building mentioned in the title. It is the beauty of nature which is awesome to behold. It can be inspiring of prayer and praise.
Good luck in the contest.

Of course a church is a place of the faithful gathering to worship God. A tabernacle where hopefully the presence of God welcomes and communes with his People. But the blue sky above, and creation's surrounds can be that place. In which you've described beautifully that place. A place built by God's hands. Beautifully written my friend, good luck, blessings Roy
