( a rough graft) exactly as she wrote it. The memories of her and you from childhood through to adulthood are surfacing and we a privileged to share them. I have an older sister, often think of her, don't know where she is, alive or dead. It is healing your soul by writing about the love between you two, it will never die and you will meet again on God's golden shore. Kxx

Hi Kace, just because you and your sister are out of sight...doesn't mean she is out of mind...for you
or her...you both have each other in your heart...
there were things in Diane's and my live that kept us together...not always so good....
Thank You for a wonderful review Sweetie Pie...
love lots my sweet friend...Linda xxoo

I'm so very sorry for the loss of your sister. I'm very close with my sister and I can feel the pain that you feel as I almost lost her a month ago. During surgery, the surgeon's instrument went through the big vein in her chest, pierced her heart, and collapsed her lung. She is fine now but we almost lost her. Praise the Lord! It's okay to feel the pain. We all grieve in different ways and at different speeds. I enjoyed her poem too. God bless!

There are two poems from two sisters in this post.
Death has a painful sting but cannot erase find memories.
This is poignant yet filled with hope. The words speak of a love that will live on. May you draw comfort from the God who cares and promises a resurrection from the Memorial Tombs to perfect life on earth soon. John 5:28,29

Linda,
You're poem is a good ode to the sister you loved and miss. You are right about thinking of those lost a lot.
Her poem shows here to be a good writer too.
Keep writing and stay healthy

I'm sorry for your loss, Linda. You honored your sister with a beautiful poem. You brought good memories of my sister and I. She lives in Spain so I don't get to see her.
I remember car hops.
It sounds like you were very close and had fun together.
Love you

I am sorry for your loss. I will pray for you and your family. I wasn't lucky enough to have a sister, only a brother, who I love dearly, but I understand sisters have a special bond. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Barbara, Thank You so much for your kind words...
we were three younger boys...three older girls...
we were like the Brady Bunch scrambled...LOL...
Johnny and Diane were my true brother and sister...
same mom and dad...dad passed...and Johnny and Diane passed...
Jim and Michael are my halves...same mom...stepfather...for about 65 years...
and Karen came with her father...stepsister...
we had our ups and downs...but my father pushed love for your family...
my sister and I have a special bond from a young age...
Thank You for a wonderful review my sweet friend...love you...Linda xxoo

You and your sister sounded like you were close. I miss my sister too, she died 5 years ago and I regret all the time we wasted because we were far apart in age and disconnected from each other for a long time. Thank you for sharing this touching and heartfelt poem.

This is a beautiful tribute to your sister. I am sorry for your loss. Your poem is well written and thank you for sharing the one she wrote as well. I liked reading your story, and laughed at you checking her apartment each night. I am sure that you miss her very much. I have two sisters that I cherish, just don't get to see them very often.

Hi Anne, she lived in Florida pretty much
all her life...and I lived in Illinois my sweet friend...
I would go there about 2 or 3 times a year...but when I went I would stay for sometimes months...I have alot of family there...
doesn't matter how far apart you are...a sisters love starts from within the heart...as children...Thank You for your kind words...and a wonderful review...love you...Linda xxoo
