This was a lovely chapter, first to last, just as the book was. Now, get thee to a publisher! I left my only comment below only because it shows how my mind took an odd turn somewhere. (Some might argue that "turn" happened about 82 years ago, LOL)

'I think we've gone over these blueprints enough, [Since the dialogue came right after the announcement that Lorna had raised her hands and called a halt, it sounds like it should be Lorna speaking, not Grant. At least it should start with something like, "I agree" ... NEVER MIND... that was Lorna speaking .. ACH! Sorry.]

that could easily outshine that of the famous Irish Riverdance [Hahaha! That's good!]

It's gonna be kinda strange not having "Betrayal" on my lead every Saturday night. What'll I do with my extra six! Now watch it, girl!

I love it when you do that. Pick me up on something and then find it's already done! Lol. You are so funny, Jay. Love you to bits.

Thank you so much for this final review of my story, I can't tell you how much they've all meant to me. Thank you also for topping it with that beautiful sixth star, it does look so pretty up there. Sending you a warm hug, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

You've wrapped this all up so beautifully Sandra, being the purveyor of happy endings, I expected as much. You've certainly forged a place in authoring my friend, it's an unmitigated success, you've added those much needed children, which always makes mr happy, almost as much as the additions to my own family. Beautifully written my friend, may the Lord grant volumes of sales. Blessings Roy

I'm so glad you enjoyed my last chapter, Roy, thank you so much for this lovely review. I wanted to end it on a loving, family note, I'm delighted you approved. Hi Sandra, I love the last chapter sweet girl...

so glad to see Cruella...and her Troll son...got time and life...

but was SSSOOOO happy when I heard rapier...
and has brother aren't out of sight...Grant and his hit men are strong enough characters to carry another story on their own...and with the women in this family...and their friends...and that muse of yours...he's a natural...I saw him...remember???...another book is a must...

of course I'm sure your taking that well earned rest you were going to take...that must've been the walk you took...

now lets move on to those names...don't you know Grant has a rep to uphold...and Tania's as tuff as him...Candy and Mandy...not to insult anyone's names...
Mandy...OK...and Sandy...OK...BUT Candy...

if someone ever broke into Grant's house...asked the girls their names...I'm Candy...I'm Mandy...what's this tuff guy( Grant) going to say...I'll kill ya if you touch them...the burglars going to ask what their real names are...he'll think Grant is Ward Cleaver's brother...the Beavers uncle...

CONGRATULATIONS on another awesome book my amazing friend...I'll add it to the ones I'm putting in the library with Eric's and Scout's books...

at least Kristy has let the kids go back to school...she's still worried about Noah...no shots for him yet...I'm going to try to go down for one of the holidays...

the ending is perfect...everyone with their families... the perfect couples...can't wait for the book to come out...very well done you...take a BOW...you deserve it...
love you all the way up to the sky...and further...I'm sooooooooo proud of you...always...God sure must love me...what a friend He sent to me in you...Love xxoo

LOL! I can't call her Sandy, that's what half my friends and family call me. (As well as other names we'll not go into at the moment, lol!) I've decided on Amanda and Lillibet. :)) What do you think? Will the burglars will approve??? LOL/LOL!
I did think of writing another sequel book, but then I have this other one that's been bashing my brains every day wanting to come out. It's a bit of a time-travel (NO not Mildred!) quite romantic, and a ghost. I do like to get my ghosts in and there wasn't one is this story. This one will be rather dishy!! But, I am taking a short break. I want to get this one published and then I've another children's story/colouring book buzzing around next to the novel that want to come out. The children's book won. You know what kids can be like if they don't get their own way!! and children's muses can be frightening things. Lol.

Linda, dear friend, thank you. You have kept me in stitches with all your fun reviews. I've loved everyone. Actually, I could write a really funny book called, 'Linda's Vivid Imagination!' LOL, what do you think?
No, it was God sending me you as my friend, dear Linda. Thank you so much for this really funny, wonderful review and the golden sixth star to top it off. Love you loads, and sending a humongous hug. :)) Sandra xxxxxxx

Hi Sandra, OK...I'll let you hold off on Grants book for a minute...only because I can see the space in your head is filling up with other ideas...and you do need to take a moment to breathe...

I still like Sandy...look on the bright side...if you ever forget your name...you'll have a source to like back on...if you remember what book you wrote it in...

one of my favorite books I've ever read was the Ghost and Mrs. Muir...can wait to read your story...

now which grandchild are you writing with this time???...are you about even with Eric and Scout???...

and I love helping you with my reviews...I know there so helpful...LOL...your the second one today to tell me I have a vivid imagination...LOL...hmmmmm

and you are always so welcome beautiful you...and sending you back the biggest hugs, with so much love...smiling big...xxoo

I think I fell in love with ghosts when I watched The Ghost and Mrs Muir over half a century ago! I love that film. I think every one of my Time-Travel stories had a ghost or two in it. I'll empty my brain and then look to see if Grant and his boys can come back. Won't promise, but you never know. Love you more, my dear friend. xxxxx

Congratulations, Sandra! So proud of you to finish another book! And you certainly wove an engaging tale of crime and romance with this group of characters!

One comment:
This sentence feels like a rhetorical question but I think it's still ended with a question mark, not a period:
"'Why should she get away with trying to have me killed."

Aw, thank you so much, Helen, what a fabulous thing to say. I'm so pleased you enjoyed my story. The sixth gold star is a bonus, and I can't thank you enough. I'll go and sort out that error, thank you for that. And thank you for being such an encouraging and supportive reviewer, my friend, I've appreciated it all. Warm hugs, :)) Sandra xxx

This was amazing Sandra. I am so glad that all the parties got what they deserved. It was a surprising note that Grant, Tania, Monica and Jeff were married on the same day two years ago. And that little Peanut was named Tania Leanne because of Latifah and Peter. A great place for growing children. Super well done and very much enjoyed. Blessings, hugs and smiles.

Oh, my word, Alie! A six from you is worth a 100 stars! Thank you, so, so much!! You have totally made my week!! I'm over the moon you enjoyed this story, and especially how it ended. Thank you!! I'm off to bed with the biggest smile on my face. Warmest hugs, dear friend. Sandra xxxx

You definitely deserved this Sandra, it was a great story that included suspense, trauma and a cheating, liar of a step-brother and an equally lying mother. Thank goodness for Grant, Tania was safe. You are so welcome. Blessings, hugs and smiles.

What a lovely ending after all the misery everyone endured. Happy families. I hate to see it end, but all good things do. Looking forward to your next endeavor. This story was so full of excitement and edge-of-the-seat, I think it will hard to top, but you can do it, dear SATP!!!!

I love the ending of the book. Obviously I have missed a few chapters but I have no trouble understanding the happy ending. I have read enough to know the main characters. But where is the character introduction list?

Are you going to publish this book soon? Congratulations for finishing it.

Well done.

Thank you, Lisa, for this lovely review. I'm glad you caught the final part. I didn't put the character list in this time because everyone knows them now and the chapter looked (and was) so long, I thought it would put the readers off!! Lol Yes, I will be publishing it. I have to give it a thorough edit first. Thanks for your support, my friend, I've really appreciated it. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

Thank you, Nancy! Aw, you do say the nicest things. I'm so pleased you were able to read this story, I know you've had so many health and eye problems. That makes your reviews that more special and I can't thank you enough. I'm going to write some poetry for a while, and work of this book while I'm at it. Then later in the year I'll start my new novel. Time-travel and a ghost!
Thank you so much for the lovely golden star, Nancy! I've appreciated all the reviews you've given me, as they've always been so encourageing. Love you lots, dear friend. Sandra xxx

Wow so much has happened since we last visited our friends. I hate to see this story end.

just to make sure that there weren't any changes needing to be discussed. (omit 'that')

Peter came up, hand stretched out to shake Jeffs. (You're talking about his hand 'Jeff's')

hat the four friends were able to sit down and chat. ('down' is an extra word and can be omitted)

I did hear that Rapier's brother died before he got to the prison, and that Rapier went into a furious rage.' (you can omit both 'that')

I do know that he is being a model prisoner. (you can omit 'that')

Thank you so much, Barbara, for the golden stars and the wonderful, helpful review. I've made all the corrections and a couple of others I spotted while I was doing it. :)) I'm so pleased you've enjoyed my story. Now I have to go right through the whole book
again. I know there will be other parts I've missed in my corrections. Thanks for all your support and encouragement throughout, my friend. I've really appreciated it. Warm hugs. Sandra xx
