Handy Hints for Writing has a lot of good-to-remember tips in it. I think the research aspect is well known to essayists and non-fiction writers, but fiction is made believable by all that is in it which is real.
Following the submission procedures and formatting is so very important too.

Handy Hints for Writing has a lot of good-to-remember tips in it. I think the research aspect is well known to essayists and non-fiction writers, but fiction is made believable by all that is in it which is real.

Much appreciated, Bill. Formatting is the bane of my existence as sometimes if you're submitting a piece for publication to magazines or whatever, you may have one piece of work in four or five different formats. it's a pain but worth it in the end..
