A fantastic continuation chapter Sandra. Wow, Latifah is definitely in labor and the hurricane is pressing on. Tania attempts bringing a sense of humor as she commented to Latifah to pick a name. She really did need to keep a calm sense for all three of the others. Well done and very much enjoyed. Smiles, hugs and blessings.

I'm delighted you enjoyed this part, Alie, thank you so much for this fabulous review. Tania shows just how good she is at keeping the situation calm, and I think Grant will be watching her. Thanks again, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxxx

You are so very welcome, Sandra, really enjoyable to read.

Sandra:
It appears that both Latifah'a baby and the other side of this massive hurricane are both coming - fast and furious. Unfortunately, I think the four who are sheltered below ground have no more control over the baby birthing than they do the weather.

I think you are right there, Jan. Babies have their own set of rules and there is nothing we mere grown-ups can do to slow the situation down. :)) Thank you so much for this lovely review, my friend, I really appreciated it and the lovely six stars. Sending you a big hug. Sandra. xxxx

What a tense situation, and you show that so well with the characters' reactions. Poor Latifah, having her baby in the midst of the terrible storm. Tania puts on a show of confidence that she knows what to do. I love the part about the tea. It seems a solution to Life's problems. Hopefully the house will stand intact. What good thinking to plan for those emergencies by storing all those provisions. When you live in an area where tornadoes or hurricanes occur, it's good to be prepared. judi

What a lovely review, Judi, thank you so much. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this part. The situation is going to get a lot hotter in the the next part. The worst of the hurrican has just happened, so it will gradually calm down now. But Latifah and her baby are just getting started! Thanks again, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

You're very welcome. Why do babies always choose to come under such conditions? I'm told I was born during a snowstorm. judi

Your writing is always free of nits. I wish I could say the same for mine. This is an exciting chapter. Tania is someone who can work without panic and I know Lafifah is glad there is another women there ever if Tania has never done this before. I'm glad you're about past the horrors of moving. I know what that is like. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Dear Beth, thank you so very much for this lovely review, I'm delighted you enjoyed reading it. Tania is going to find out just what she is truly capable of over the next few hours. I wouldn't like to be in her position, even though I've had two boys.
Yes, we can see daylight! The boxes are going down, but the back aches are increasing! Lol. Thanks, dear friend. I'll be catching up with yours soon, just want to clear the last boxes. Never again!! Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

-An excellent chapter, Sandra.
-You describe the whole situation very well,
and we can believe everything that is going on.
-It is good to see Tania taking charge even
though she had never done anything
like this before, but she is able
to keep everyone focused, including Latifah.
-Everyone has a role to play to make sure
Latifah is comfortable and that the
worry is lessened for her.
-She gravitates toward Tania for
reassurance, and Tania even
manages a bit of humor regarding
the baby's name.
-Then, Wham, the hurricane hits,
and I think the baby will be making
its entrance in the next chapter.
-Well done, my friend.

Just sitting down after our dinner, and checking out my reviews. Thank you so very much for this lovely one, Pam. That you thought I described the situation so well you could believe everything that was going on, is the best compliment I could ever receive. It's been hard keeping up but I didn't want you all to forget the plot, and then to have a review like this, well, my dear friend, you just blew my mind. Thank you. Sending a double hug and lots of love. :)) Sandra xxxx

You are very welcome and deserving of the comments, Sandra, and I am glad they were meaningful to you. I wasn't going to forget the plot:):) You did a great job! You better not let that baby linger too long:)

HI Sandra, I hope that baby comes out talking...
so it can tell us who the informant is...gurrrr...
I have all hopes that...Stormy, Patience, Windy...whatever they name her...will be just fine...she sounds like she's coming fast...I'm sure Tania can handle this...it's like that bun in the oven is done...now all you have to do is catch it when it pops out...
now I take it you and Grant haven't been able to sit down and talk yet...he better find out about the informant soon...because no hurricane...or an early birth is going to be anything kind of competition to what Colin and Cruella will come up with...and I'm still not sure about
Peter yet...
very well written my amazing friend...a great story told...will be a best seller...sending you my prayers
to help you get through your move...and bunches of love...Linda xxoo
I hope all is going well...don't try to unpack all at one time sweet girl...

You are so funny!!! Grant will be investigating who the rat is as soon as he is able to get out of this horrid hurricane. I keep telling him to calm down, that it won't be forgotten because there is a lady who keeps badgering me to find out who the betrayer is, and he said to tell you, thank you. Just in case he forgot all about it!!!! LOL
Windy!!!! What are you? LOL, That name would be open to lots of teasing when she went to school. I thought about the Spanish words, Suave Brisa, or, Impacientes. (Of course you realise I'm just showing off my amazing grasp of the Spanish language!!!!) Gentle Breeze, (put them together and it's Suavebrisa, what do you think?? Lol. I have to wait for Peter and Latifah to decide. The trouble is, none of them confide these things in me, they are quite mean like that!
Thank you my lovely friend, for another fun review and all those glorious stars! It would be amazing if I could sell it to a publisher, but I won't hold my breath. Just you saying it makes me happy.
Where are you now? I'm going to have to get you to send me a fridge magnet from all those places you visit, my fridge-freezer doors would soon be full up!!!
Love you lots, dear friend. Sending you loads of hugs. Sandra xxxxx

Wow! This harrowing childbirth scene rings true to circumstances insofar as I've seen depicted--fortunately, I do not speak from experience. Gripping--you build to a tantalizing sign-off.

Wow, lots of action in this episode Sandra, the eye has passed and the storm is revving up, and the contractions are close together. It's a "perfect storm" moment, opposed to what's been going on in the past. This is a wonderful chapter. Well done, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Thank you so very much, my dear friend. What a lovely review. I've been so busy with our move that I was getting worried that I'd not get this part finished in time. I'm so pleased you enjoyed reading it, Roy, thank you so much. Love and hugs, my friend. Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra. It's been awhile since I've reviewed your ongoing novel, which you've apparently developed quite a bit. I haven't followed it all the way through, but you seem to be doing a great job. This is an exciting scene here, with the housekeeper about to give birth, during a thunderstorm! I don't know much about childbirth myself, but I think I remember hearing (probably on TV, also) that delivery is imminent, when contractions are about two minutes apart. It's kind of funny, how much of our medical "knowledge" comes from watching TV!
A few suggested revisions:
'Peter, how about you take over from Tania so I can show where everything is?'

Your list of characters is very helpful. Thank you for doing that. Yes, moving is very difficult. I wish you the best!

Thank you so much for this very helpful review, Mary, I really appreciate the time you've spent going over it. I've just about worn my brain out with this move. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this part, and you like the way I've written my list of characters. Sending you warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

You're very welcome, Sandra, I'm happy to help. Yes, moving can be tiring, and as much as it can be physically draining, I suppose it is can be mentally and emotionally exhausting, as well. It's been awhile since I've moved, but actually, I don't think I've fully recovered from the last one! We still have some things in boxes, and in storage... yeah, definitely need to deal with that.
God bless you, my friend.
Love, Mary Kay xoxo

You wicked woman! I'm ready to deliver the baby here!! Oh well, Ill get you back with my story soon. Smiles. Loved this and the tension mingled with humor. Humor is good or we'd expire. I remember telling Jackson we had to go to the hospital right now, or I'd have the baby on the floor. He was like... "It's the middle of the night!" Men! Like the baby knows that. Sending you my best and six stars for your marvelous post. (No spags, either.)

LOL I know you will!! Thank you so much, Sal, for this lovely review and for those beautiful stars. You really have it right with men, they don't have a clue what it's really like. Most babies come in the middle of the night. Weird, isn't it? Thanks, dear friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx
