He's going to need medical attention of some kind with that arm. I expect they will go to Tommy and Heather's farm. I don't know if they will show themselves, or will be discovered. This does not bode well for the home folks

The next two weeks (four postings) will make it all clear. War is un predictable. Many thanks for your thoughts in review.

Dear jim, This particular post leaves the reader to wonder if these German soldiers, will encounter anyone from The Jericho farm, And what will happen then?
And even more importantly, what role the mill may play in this part of the story.

The mill is already playing a role for them. Where do you think they are? Many thanks for your concearned review.

This is a major twist in the story, but I see how the mill is still being involved. It will be interesting to see what happens next. Presumably someone from the Bosch family will find them. Well done.

Another loose end to be drawn in later. Many thanks for reading and reviewing.&

Hi Jim, just for a few moment I was confused thinking it was Jack who had crashed, until I recognised that it was the Germans. As I speak German, I was impressed with yours.
It's a clever turn you are making, letting us see it through a German's indoctrinated eye. As always, it's very well written. Ulla:)))

Another loose end that will be pulled together in the end. Thanks for the linguistic compliment but it is owed to Google Translate and Helen (Lyenochka) as final moderator. Many thanks for this six-star review. It is much appreciated.

Such a writer you are!! This was fascinating and your German was spot on...I certainly hope there will be more to this story - more of anything from you is welcome and hoped for!! This reader felt as if she was right there...not always so when reading stories. Fine work, sir, excellent write!!

Thank you so much for this six star review. I did have a German speaker to edit my German so I can't really claim the credit for that, but i am so pleased that you felt you were right there.

You write wonderful stories

I had a shock for a moment, thinking that Jack had crashed, but it was the Germans. I remember when my eldest son was learning German at school and I helped a bit, it had many words that were similar the English. As does Spanish. So, now we have Germans in hiding, I wonder how long it will be before they are found. With a broken arm, he won't be able to do much. Excellent chapter, Jim, just one tiny error, below. Your finger hit the G. :)) Sandra xx
Without a compass, thge pilot

Thank you so much for this fine review. I got some help from a German Speaker before finally going to press.
-
I thought you spoke fluent German!! Lol, it was really well written.
-
It was Helen and her husband who corrected what I had written.
-
Oh, are they German? Or just fluent?
-
Helen and her husband? I think there is some connection.

This exploration of the war from a Nazi pilot's viewpoint is an unique look at the other side. Why man has to hate man is the unanswered question still today. I think this is an outstanding chapter for your book. I did note a small typo: "Without a compass THGE pilot." Assume it should be "the."
