Great to see you writing, dear Geoff. I like you rhyming verse and story told within. I pray things improve for your taxi system. I know how important mobility is.
Sending you my best today as always, and blessings for your week,
Sal XOs....

This dang virus has rerouted everybody's life in some way or another. Here in the USA we're all getting our shots, but who really knows what the outcome from the virus itself or will we find out down the road that this vaccine wasn't safe like we think it is and something from it will get the ones that COVID-19 didn't get. Thanks for sharing your story.

Thanks Patty you may have seen here in Aus one of the local vaccines is causing some clotting and some have died from that. We are past the age that is prone to the clotting from this but still not in a hurry for the vaccine. COVID has wrecked a lot of relationships so right. Thanks.

You are very welcome. There is so much controversy over the vaccine. I believe medical science has done their best to rise to the occasion of a vaccine in record time albeit not enough time to be tested thoroughly as most medicines require. It seems taking the vaccine has to be just a leap of faith that we are going down the right path. The one that causes the clotting I think is the Johnson & Johnson company. There have only been a handful of people have gotten the blood clots of which only one or two passed away out of the millions of people have taken the vaccine without any reprocussions. I guess one has to weigh the facts. At my age and my health, I don't care to chance getting the COVID, I took the second shot yesterday, God bless to you and the wife!

Thanks Patty. We just had our flu shot the other day we have to wait a week or two before we have the COVID vaccine. Doc seems confident we will be ok.

This is a well written poem that tells your story. I find it interesting that you say "post covid". I wish they were calling it that here. Cases are still rising in a lot of places, and another lockdown could be ahead. I had to be taken for granted, and it is good your have other options if you aren't treated with the respect. You deserve.

I guess "training" your new drivers who are driving these special access vehicles needs some sort of "on the job" training, and they're not au fait with customer requirements, well done Geoff, an excellent review, blessings Roy

Thanks Bro Ahmad or Barkaat instructed all the other drivers as to what was preferred and the routes preferred to and from church. Most bus and taxi drivers are trained to be gentle over speed humps and pedestrian crossings and unofficial speed humps in the roads.

This blighted COVID has made many differences in our lives, some good and some bad. I feel sorry for those who have been bankrupted by the effects of lockdown. However, we have been relatively lucky here in Australia. Glad to hear that you and Louse are still able to get about.

Thanks Tony some drivers were owner drivers and had to survive as best the could Ahmad and his partner rented their taxi so they dropped out during Covid and school closures etc. Yes we are better off than a lot overseas but how many brought it on themselves by disregard of rules? Thanks.
