Thank you for being such a compassionate soul... I indeed will pray for L. Raven as she has lost her mother. Every caregiver is a blessing. It's nice to acknowledge all of our first responders during this pandemic...but in fact, we ought not to lose sight of the fact that families have been stepping up and "responding" to the illnesses and deaths of our loved ones always! --Karenina

Yes, and you know that so well both as a nurse and as you have cared for your husband. Thanks so much for the wonderful review and comments and especially for your prayers for Linda. Hugs!

Prayers are always needed and welcome, easing the pain of many people. However, I feel that they are especially necessary at the present time in our troubled world.

Thank you for being a caregiver, Kate. Your parents are blessed to have such a gracious and loving daughter like you.
Appreciate your review, too!
Hugs!

This is a nicely written spiritual poem it has a nice flow and rhyme scheme. Sorry for the loss. So sad to lose a mother. Nice photo to go with your words. So difficult to go through watching a loved one sick. I can relate I lost my mom a year ago. Nicely done.

You know, too, as you cared for your husband, Dolly. Thanks for the great review. I don't think I know too many Fanstorians but somehow, at our age, someone needs prayer all the time. Hugs!

I'm so sorry to hear this news. Bless her heart. It takes a special person to give such care to people. She will have her reward in Heaven some day. Thanks for sharing this.

Thank you, Yvonne. Yes, Linda often flies to other states to help a friend or relative. She's so devoted. But I'm sure this is very hard and you know this so well as you took care of your mom for many years. Hugs!

Thank you so much, Roy! Appreciate your prayers and I made your suggested change. I guess I was using it as an adjective but then I'd need "a healing touch." You keep me on my toes! Hugs and blessings!!

Yes, I agree. She is a lovely person and I know it is always a hard thing to say goodbye to one's mom.
Thanks for reviewing and praying for her.
Hugs!

I am always pleased when a pot treats repeated lines as part of the sense of surrounding poem and not merely as a repetitious refrain line. You manage it splendidly here in this kyrielle.

This is a beautiful poem. There are so many of those care givers out there who are praying and doing everything they know to do for their loved ones. I do believe the Lord blesses them and gives them the strength to go on. I've been a care giver and I know you have to. It times of need we become what we need to be for those we love.

A beautiful and heartfelt offering, Helen.
Caregivers are so often burdened physically, emotionally, and mentally, and yet, many do not even realize they are. I know when I care for my own mother that there were many exhausting moments, but I would do it again just to have her alive and well again.
Thank you for sharing!

Bless you, Diane! I'm sure it was exhausting but you were there for her and that was a blessing in itself. My parents are too far away and I feel guilty that I can't do enough. Appreciate you sharing and reviewing! Hugs!
