Hi Linda. My condolences to our friend. I have been aboard almost 20 years and have always enjoyed Joan's writing. I was not aware she was ill, but had not seen any posts by her in recent weeks, it seems. Bless her and bless you, Linda. X Bob

Hi Pam, yes she did...but we just called it my suitcase...
I will miss not seeing her pop up in my PM...so many wonderfully talented people have passed...it is so sad...

I had never heard that part about 'Highway' -- hahahaha I love it! Joan was such a special lady. And sooooo talented. Her amazing ability to put a reader right in her moments was hard to beat.

that is what Michael (reconciled) called her...I loved it too...
she truly was a special lady...I loved chatting with her...
Robyn, I just hate when we lose someone on here...these aren't just people we said hi on the street to...we become true friends on here...and even meet some of them...I bet we are in more contact on FanStory more than a lot of families today...
