I like the way you use the volta in this English Sonnet form to slip into the appropriate and well-tried metaphor of our final voyage, immortalised by Tennyson in his poem 'Crossing the Bar', which has been set to music by a number of composers.

Hello MM, this is a lovely addition to the book for Joan. It came as a shock to me when I got the news. We communicated by our poetry and she always wrote tanka about her many journeys. She travelled widely. Well done - Dorothy x
