What a great tribute. It is lovely poem about someone it seems everyone know here. It makes me smile knowing she will be missed by so many. I love the picture used and the pink for the background color. Make it tie together.

Thank you for the exceptional rating and review, Cathy M. I appreciate your comments about the tribute, the picture and presentation. We have lost quite a few FanStory members in the last year or two, and it does impact us because we share so much of our writing, and sometimes ourselves.

Thanks for the review, Greyson. I appreciate your comments. A multi-author book is something a writer can begin for other people to add to. For example, one member started a book for her mother's birthday, and asked others to share a story or poem. If you have other questions about it, send me a message.

The day I meet with my demise may the love of Fanstorians have a smile in their hearts and remember me with the love shown to JoanE. I didn't know her. Yet, I wish I had. She was a poet, and a writer I would have cherished. May she rest in peace. Thank you, Pam, for a lovely write.

What a wonderful idea to create a book of memorial poetry for your friend Joan! I wish I had known her, but I only joined in late 2020.
Your poem is moving and beautiful, a fitting poem for what sounds like a beautiful lady. I love Emily Dickinson and "Hope is the Thing with Feathers" is one of my favorites, so good choice!
Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the review, Susan. I appreciate your comments about the book, but I didn't create it. lyenochka (Helen) did that part. We are just adding to it. I am glad you liked the poem and found it moving. That poem is one of my favorites, too.

Beautifully done, Pam. The words never come easily at these times but yours are straight from the heart and show the depth of your online relationship with Joan. As you say, she contributed much and will be sorely missed.

I like what you said: "I look deep within my heart, To show how much I care, And how I'll miss, The special words you shared."To me, it reminds me that I enjoy the fan story.com. Thank you for sharing your writing.
We all miss our relatives and friends and loved ones like what you said: "Knowing you're at peace, We'll keep you in our heart,

Thanks for the review. I appreciate you sharing the parts of the poem you liked. We do miss relatives and friends when they pass on, but they stay in our heart.

This touched me deeply Pam. You have managed to incorporate so much emotion into your words, telling of your own feelings and also expressing how we who knew her, now feel about being without her. I especially liked these lines:
O'er land or sea or air
You always took us there
And gave us such delight.
Now, it's our turn
To say how much we care,
And how you will be missed.
It is really difficult to put it into words, but I think you have done a wonderful job of it. Thank you for this touching poem.

Thanks for the review, Ann. I appreciate your comments about the loss of Joan, and I think she would be happy, too. She had been on the site since 2007 so there were a lot of people she knew and who followed her writing. She was a lovely person. I am glad you liked the poem.
