I think I'm going to like seeing Colin roughed up by the security team if Tania doesn't get her claws in him first. She's an intelligent woman so I'm sure she's going to figure out something to make Colin screw up and she'll have something for a weapon that she can knock him out with to escape. If not I'm liking the new twist with the security teams coming on board. Happy New Year Sandra!ð?¥?ð??¾

This didn't come into my PM box. I am not sure why. I am glad you told me it was posted or I would have missed it.
I am glad Grant is putting the team in action. Tania will need them to get out alive. I enjoy reading this story.
Lorna put the files on Grant's desk, pulled out the chair from under it, then sat down and crossed her legs. (Down is an unnecessary word.)

Aw, Thank you so much, Barbara. Yes, Grant gets his team back to help out. Thank you for the golden star, my friend, I really do appreciate it. Have a wonderful New Year, I hope this dreadful virus will finely be hit on the head and we can go back to some semblance of a normal life. Warm hugs! :)) Sandra xx

A great read - moving the story forward at a good pace. Also some nice turns of phrase: "...she wasn't prepared for the hard, stinging, slap across her face."
The description of tourists in boats with selfie sticks is a nice detail - the comparison of boats on the water to live "moving on" works well.
One small off note for me is Grant saying "That's a bit OTT, isn't it?"
I had to re-read the acronym and realized it is probably "text speak", which is ok when texting but I'm not sure it works in dialogue.
Other than that, I enjoyed the chapter and can't wait to see/read what happens next.

I'm glad you mentioned the OTT, I've changed it now to the full, 'over the top' which reads much better now. Thank you so much for another lovely review, RetroStarfish, I really did appreciate all your comments. Have a wonderful 2021! :)) Sandra xxx

I had a wonderful Christmas with my niece and her husband and my bro and sis-in-law whom I haven't seen in 4yrs. Hope you had a great one too. Another great chapter. I can only hope Grant's team can find Tania as it doesn't look like she is going to be in very good shape or maybe not even alive it they don't find her soon.

We had a lovely Christmas, too, Rox, we were allowed to go to my son's home. This lockdown and visiting restrictions are hard at times. Thank you for reading, my friend. I wish you a wonderful 2021 xxx Sandra

Colin is a very cruel character. He sounds like he could very well be capable of murder. I'm glad Grant has a plan and I hope it works. You writing makes your readers worry but we have faith you have something in mind. I'm enjoying the story and won't to see Colin pay for his lies and cruelty.

Hooray! The rescue team is on the way. But is Tania in Colin's apartment now? It sounds like she doesn't have much time left and she already suffered a head injury. Great job with the drama on this one!!

Well, Colin, is a psychopath, in my book. He is egotistical and will not stand for anyone to be better than what he -perceives as how great he is. You did a great job, Sandra. This chapter was as intense as it was frightening. Wow, Lorna sure stepped up to the plate with her analysis, ideas, and overall preparedness. I like the idea of Grant's elite SAS team becoming involved at his request. Tania is in deep trouble and only they will be able, hopefully, to rescue her. I'm also sensing that Colin may be expendable. However, maybe not. His exposure as a thief and kidnapper, and whatever other crimes he's committed, will show him for what he truly is--deranged.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Thank you so much, Jan, for this lovely review. Yes, Colin is really something else, isn't he? Now Grant is involved, things will start happening. Have a better 2021, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra. xxx

A small typo, with thing instead of think, 'If you think I'm going to just hand over those plans, you have another think coming'
A decent chapter. I guess we are getting to the climax of the story. I would've easily finished the book tonight if it were complete. Keep writing!

Wow, make that a double wow, Sandra. What an exciting chapter of continuation. Poor Tania is definitely feeling the wrath of Colin. Lorna and Grant are understanding the frustrations of the situation and thus feel the need to call in Jefferson Horner, Reg Fielding and Carl Young. Grant's elite SAS team. He trusted them all with his life. And he would trust them with Tania's. So much excitement and planning. Very much enjoyed and I am eagerly waiting the next installment. Great job. Hoping you and yours had a wonderful Christmas, smiles, hugs and blessings for a happy 2021.

I'm glad Grant has been persuaded to be proactive instead of just sitting around, wringing his hands. Colin is a Trump-ian loose cannon!
The look Colin threw at her left Tania in no doubt he'd follow through with the threat. [I had to read this several times, Sandra, for meaning and I believe "...left Tanya WITH no doubt ..." makes it flow a tad smoother.]
Each was told to choose their own security teams and Grant left them to it. [I don't know if it bothers you as much as it bothers me, but while using the single "each" with the plural "their" is gaining adherents it still peals like a lead bell to my ears. In this case, I would reword it to, "They were told to choose their own security teams..." I'm just mentioning it incidentally.]
Another good chapter, Sandra.

Hi Jay, thank you so much for reading this part and for the helpful comments. I've changed the singular to plural, and agree with what you said. But, the other point you raised, I looked it up and they all say, IN no doubt. I could reword the whole sentence to read WITHOUT a doubt. I'll play around with that and see how it goes. Thanks for this, my friend. Have a lovely 2021. :)) Sandra xx
