Well done! I hope she outfoxes the sneaky SOB--my guess is she's setting him up somehow--meantime, doesn't seem she's recorded anything incriminating. I'm hooked.

Thistlegates most definitely are [is] not sexist

No, he hasn't come right out and mentioned the missing plans he'd stolen from her, which is what she needs. More to come! Thank you so much for this lovely review, Liz, and bless you for pointing out that error. Now corrected! Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Well, Colin, is doing more than eating fish--he's fishing for details with his questioning/responses. I believe Tania handled all of the conversation well, Sandra. You give readers many pertinent details about the plans, etc. I believe Colin knows full well that Tania has the plans/designs and yes, he is trying to get hold of them to do???? To figure out how he can untangle the mess he has caused himself with his stealing of the plans--so far that is what it looks like to me. It would be interesting to find out if he is innocent of the theft. . . .hmmm!
Thanks for sharing. Jan

Hello Sandra.

Now we know what Colin is all about. You already convinced me that he was in the bad corner and now at lunch, he shows what corner he is in.

This is good entry get the lunch table. It was an interesting conversation at lunchtime. There's an old saying in athletics that you can't tell your players without a program. Now we have the program, I think.

I look forward to seeing how Tonia handles this.

Robert

A great continuation chapter Sandra. I loved the detail in which you went to describe Tania's preparation, so she had a calm look rather than an overworked look. Poor Colin is truly an idiot and falling right into her hands. I do wonder what he is planning but I can wait. Hugs, smiles and blessings.

Sandra,

Very interesting chapter - I'm afraid to find out what Colin may have up his sleeve. Yuck!

This was well-composed and definitely entertaining!

Notes:
1.) She shivered and pulled her jacke(t) closer.

2.) 'So, tell me what you've been up (to) since I last saw you.

3.) either(,)' he said as he lifted his glass.

Thanks!

Please, please, please hurry with the next chapter! lol

Just three points/suggestions:
Thistlegates most definitely are not sexist, racist, or any other 'ist. You're good enough--in my books, anyway!' - quote needed after 'ist. Should be 'or any other 'ist'. You're good enough...'

It wasn't hard, most of my architect friends knew. - replace comma with a period

Why don't you give them to me, perhaps I can find a way to get Thistlegates to take a look. - question mark after 'me'

Stay safe

Judy

I guess it was Colin after all. And the fool thinks he's hit the jackpot! I'm sure when Grant hears that tape, he'll have no doubt. He'll have to squirm and apologize. Love it!

Thank you, Cindy. Colin thinks he has it all under control, but then again, so does Tania. One of them is wrong. :)) I'm so pleased you are enjoying my story, my friend, you are so supportive, and I really appreciate you. Warm hugs, have a lovely day. Sandra xxx

Shucks! This ended too soon. I'm afraid he can get those plans somehow. I was so tense all through lunch. hahaha. I'm still a little afraid of him. No telling what he'll come up with. You always develop such interesting and realistic characters.

he dines into the ploy and now comes the fun.
I was amazed while reading the dinner treat and no doubt before Mask time. LOL. I wonder how we writers are going to handle this.
Good one as always Sandy.

I know, how dare they not wear their masks!!! LOL, This is set a few years before the virus, lol. I'll have to come up with a new story after this with the lockdowns and the virus in it. It could be quite a horror story! Thank you so very much for the six lovely stars, and this lovely review, my wonderful friend. Warm hugs and love. Sandy xxx
