The picture intrigued me and the piece did not disappoint me. Amazing piece of telling for the story 'cube'. Loved the telling and the flow that made it fun to read

God bless you, take care and stay safe!

Yvette, what a mesmerizing poem and photo; they're almost hypnotic.
I liked the story behind it, and it is definitely an adult fairy tale (we're entitled to one every once in awhile.
Excellent poem, Yvette.
Have a nice Wednesday.
Good luck in the contest,
Cindy

You always find the coolest art. This is a fun read, easy enough for even a third grader to comprehend. I am trying to remember if I read the Eragon series, and I might have, maybe when it first came out, or at least one. Sounds like a mischievous younger brother made a replica of a magical-looking golden key. Fun read, with those four syllables in every line.

You know, I sometimes waste TOO much time searching for the 'perfect' pic - ugh... kindof goes back to the blonde getting an idea in her head and, well, you get the 'picture' (wink, wink). But I'm so glad you enjoyed my fancy flight here, Crystie -- sometimes you just have to let the muses out to play around a bit, ya know?! Thanx so much for the review and enjoy your Thursday out there! ;) Yvette

Great presentation. I like how your piece is like a children's story. It reminds me of A Never Ending Story. That fantasy and mystical feel. I like the gold rubbing off, reminds me of chocolate coins. Thanks for sharing.

This site keeps stretching me. First I never used to read any poetry, having been immunized against it in high school. Now look at me, I even write the stuff, in a fluffy form. Next I guess it will be Fantasy that calls to me. Short pieces like this one I can already come to grips with, so thank you for setting me on the pathway, with such a rich little snippet.

Delightful whimsy--thanks for notes for context--as for read the book/ skip the movie--good advice--I'm nearly always disappointed by movie--if I see the movie first and adjudge it excellent, once I read the book I retract my judgment of the movie. Fine work in a challenging cube--I'm an ABBA devotee.

Book>movie-- examples abound: "A Beautiful Mind" tops my list.
