Rewriting history to suit themselves32 total reviews

Our history has been being rewritten for a long time, even when I was still in High School, many, many moons ago, they were already casting doubt on explorers, discoverers, great men who helped shape our country. They were all human with faults, but still great men. Almost every man who signed our Constitution was hunted down like an animal, lost his family, home, most killed and imprisoned. People today have no idea what it means to sacrifice for your country, most don't think you should have to and everything should be just given to you. I'm sick of it all, but scared too. What kind of world will future Americans live in? If Trump doesn't win I think we are all in big trouble. He's not near perfect, but I believe he loves this country, I have doubts about most of the others. How a Christian could vote for Biden, I can't even understand, but I have friends who already have and others who plan to. ={ I want to smack them all! Very well written and I agree 1000%.

Thank you for the awesome review and shiny stars, dear Rox. I'm blessed to have so many stand up with me in this. We need the power of unity in Christ if we are to turn our nation around.

I am so with you on this one Sally. I loved these words you used here: "They are an arrogant bunch, desperate to the point of madness". This is so true and we suffer the same kind of madness in England too. Pulling down statues that have been with us for centuries! Why do these minority groups rule the majority? This is what I cannot understand Sally. A poignant write, love Dolly x

Interesting you should mention this: "I learned long ago how to spot fake currency by the feel and look of the paper. Authentic currency paper has tiny red and blue fibers embedded throughout." Way back in the 1960's and probably longer than I am aware. We had a blind man who sold ice cream at the band concerts. Everyone knew, unless they were new, that he knew the difference the between a $1, $5, and $10 bill. Word went round he caught many trying to give him a $1 bill when they were supposed to be giving him a 5 or 10. That is gift. I'm glad for you.

As usual, no one in mainstream "news" media fact-checks a Democrat, though they are quick to falsely claim something a Republican says is either erroneous or racist or despicable in some way based on the fragment or distortion they choose to attribute to him or her.
In this case, Harris conveniently ignored the fact that Lincoln could not present a nomination for Supreme Court Justice to the Senate because that body was not in session during the month before the election. Harris then concocted a lie to suit her purpose -- to use public reverence for "Honest Abe" to claim HER lying words were his in order to counter Pence's reminder (during their debate) that Trump, as President still in office, has the Constitutionally legal right and duty to make a nomination to fill a Supreme Court vacancy in timely manor.
Fortunately, the National Review DID set the record straight; and in this post you well explain Harris's attempt to fool the public, whose educational lack caused by Democrats' decades-long war on teaching of accurate history she tried to exploit.
Harris's arrogance is just another instance of Democrat elites' belief that they are smarter than the American people who elect them to office they actually sully by their behavior.
Brava, Sally! We can't let the REAL liars get away with it. Superb.

Thank you so much for this wonderful, insightful review, Mike. If not for any other reason, I cast light into a dark place. A dear friend of mine and poet here on FanStory, Gary Redmiles, said, "Wicked politicians are like cockroaches. You shine a light on them and they scatter." Truth is light, and stronger than anything. It's the only weapon we have to defeat these lies. Hopefully, many will read this and look into this duo of darkness. I certainly hope so. Thank you for your support and encouragement. I appreciate you so much!
Sending you my best today as always,
Sal :))

You are most welcome, Sal. I agree with Gary, which is why this post and comparable ones by Robert Zimmerman are so important. I am glad to support your and his efforts to spread awareness of the threat we face from internal enemies of our nation and our freedoms. -- Mike

I do enjoy your op-ed, Sally. I found the VP's debate so boring I actually fell asleep. Neither of the two are what I would call dynamic orators.
As far as Harris changing history, I guess you could say that she used a bit of creative hyperbole, or plausible deniability by saying that Abraham Lincoln actually said "it's not the right thing to do" because in truth no one knows for a fact what he said but historians agree it's unlikely he was that magnanimous and it was likely more of a strategic decision. But the facts are as you stated, Lincoln was faced with a Supreme Court vacancy 27 days before Election Day in 1864, when his party controlled the Senate. He decided to wait until after winning the election to pursue the nomination for his supreme court jurist.
I am a Canadian and Conservative and have been pretty well all my life, and politics is the same old filthy, blood-sport game it's always been.
Great to see you today and many thanks for sharing. :))

Yeah, I saw that. At first I couldn't believe it either, but she's done that before, when talking about Obama and his handling of the Ebola pandemic, that actually never happened. But, given the state of education and lack of knowledge of history in our country, I can't blame her for trying.

Kamala lies with a straight face. Biden lies. Yet he keeps saying that we have to fact check Donald Trump. The Democrats are guilty of blaming others for what they are doing. This is the manifesto of Saul Alinsky and Karl Marx. Everything that has happened since Donald Trump announced he was running for President, mirrors what the Communists do. It is comforting to know there are knowledgeable people who will not swallow the stupidity being dealt out by the Democrats. I'm Canadian, but I have always followed U.S.News because we are so closely linked and often we end up with policies that are the same. This is an
A-One post Sally.

Thank you for the wonderful review and generous stars, dear Ralf. More than anything, thank you for standing with me in this. A nation must remember their history accurately. To lie about it just isn?t right. I shudder to think if this ticket wins. Our history will be Gone With The Wind.

If the presidential candidates are aware of anything, they are certainly aware that one gets elected on People's perception of them, people would like to think they are well connected, or squeaky clean morally, (probably because they hide their sin well) I don't like the business anyway, because once they're "in" it's the machine that corrupts, because it depends on "sleight of hand" I don't care if they're Christian or not. Well done, pray for who ever gets in, they'll need all the help they can get, well done Sally. Blessings Roy
