Enjoyed the picture and poem imagining a sea of poppies rippling in the red-hued sunset. I also liked the "ancient land" as it gives me a sense of continuity and maybe timelessness. I always remember how you liked to bring poppies to you mother. It's a lovely flower!

You have a great memory... Yes, I love poppies and I have good childhood memories. I found the picture first for this one, so I guess it's an ekphrastic poem. Thank you for taking the time to read me.
