This is excellent--a really lovely poem! The message conveyed is delightful--that moonlight, not darkness, is the primary "personality trait" of nighttime. Great figures of speech

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem in addition to the multi-author book of Renga. The moon's reflection in the water gives her a virtual dance partner in the dark night sky.

I really liked your 5-7-5 especially your "moonlight's dance partner." You made the night time feel magical and of course, you chose the perfect picture to illustrate!

Yvette,
This is an awesome 5-7-5 poem. First of all, the photo and lettering are actually calming, allaying any fears one may have of the night.
The last line gives the reader a beautiful image of the moon and darkness, dancing until daybreak.
Wonderful work, Yvette.
Best wishes, Cindy

Breathtaking! Fresh and elegant imagery--a tour de force in three lines. Larger than darkness--moonlight's dance partner--startling phrasing! A fine addition! Cheers. LIZ

What a beautiful moon and its reflection. What a great poem to go with.
Yes. A beautiful moon will need a dance partner, which could be his shadow or any creatures that is awake at night.
You inspired me to post mine 7-7 that I wrote before for this book but didn't have a chance.
I wrote about sun light.

I loved your 5-7-5 contribution to the renga. It's quite beautiful in every sense. The artwork is stunning and a perfect addition. One question though (I'm still a newbie): Where's the kigo in the 7-7, or perhaps that is not the first chapter?
