'Saturday, each kitchen chair would be filled with pans of raising dough as Nana made her own bread.' (This would be my favorite day!!! I love the smell on homemade bread!)

'So I had to learn to cook with trial and error.' That is me as well.

I loved you cooking stories!!

Well, that is why frozen dinners and take out are so important. Very will written, good idea to separate the different types of food you attempted. You tried them all in searching for success. But, the main point is that you tried and had someone willing to try with you.

Funny stuff.

I love this story. It reminded me of my mother and her disasters in the kitchen. She never did become a good cook except she made great mac and cheese. This is well written and so much fun to read. Your illustration is perfect. This really nicely done.

Oh Master Chef! I like to see how children participate in this rather popular tv program and do real wonders and miracles with the food they are preparing.
I am a rather good cook myself, having learned from my Mom to improvise and later by using real good cookbooks and recipes. Some of my earlier improvisations also ended in disasters, but as a whole, I did well. I really had to smile reading your experiences with new dishes.
Nice reading!

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I lost my mom at a very young age so I only had my nana

What a memorable trail of disaster you inflicted on poor Harvey until you mastered terms and techniques to become "The Master Chef". Your story has an enjoyably humorous tone. I loved the images of the gap-toothed rats and the skidding chicken.
