An excellent episode, with Mackenzie and Logan, getting and becoming more deeply involved, Mac knowing Logan really does care for her. I've seen the way your romance stories, with the crime mystery background, and the way I like it, you've written this superbly, thank you Barbara, beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy

Barb,
Even I that McKenzie arrives home. It shows how Logan really cares for McKenzie. Its nice of how you described McKenzie
arrival, to her own home, smiles seeing her dogs, and having a meal prepared for, gave your chapter a homey feeling.
I'm wondering if the bullet proof vest are coming into existence?
Oh one thing I noticed with this line-- it had no feeling to it
was just there

She put her arms around his neck and held tight.(( He returned it."

I had changed it as I posted. I was afraid I would get gigged for repeating words. I will put it back as it was. I liked it better too. Thank you.

Just when the happy times seem to have returned the ringing phone signals that everything might not be as good as it seems. LOL. Thank for taking me along for the ride.

Sweet chapter and I love how the owners know what their dogs are thinking. Ad seems very vulnerable and I can appreciate Logan's protective nature. I hope she can.

A small improvement for your consideration.
"Tears well in her eyes." Welled would be more appropriate here. Possibly try this sentence.

{Tears welled up in her eyes, threatening to fall.}

"Edger teases...." Typo, missing s.

Sending you my best today as always, and prayers for your week and days ahead. Thank you for all that you do and who you are! Blessings, dear Barbara.

Hi Barbara, so Mac is finally home, and they all mill about to make sure she's okay. But they do disturb a tender moment, and now Logan's phone is calling him back on duty. Sigh!
Yes, Spain is the same. In principle school will start in September as usual, but nobody knows in which form. Good luck with that. Ulla xx

I'm so pleased Edgar is ok, and I agree that he should have a bullet proof vest on. He's there to protect Mac, he must be up for the job. Now they are all there, I hope that Logan doesn't have to go back to the unit yet. He'll worry himself sick if he's not there to protect Mac. We know they are in love with each other. Another great chapter, Barb. Well done. :)) Sandra xx

I think you are wise and will never think much about the errors in the chapters when you have already finished the novel; think of Shakespeare; none is perfect; I like this chapter; well done. ALCREATOR

I did not catch any errors in this well-written chapter. Your illustration is perfect, of course. I am looking forward to your next chapter. This is nicely done.

I enjoyed reading this chapter part. The reading of the chapter flowed easily along. The relationship between Logan an McKenzie is obviously development.
