I like this thought provoking work and the message conveyed in it. I know that many worthwhile things are birthed in our lives through contemplation and meditation on the word of God. Thanks for sharing this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

I'm so glad you are continuing to contribute to Gypsy's renga book. It's such a blessing to have the Holy Spirit guide our contemplation so that we can feast on spiritual wisdom!
Comments:
I wonder if you meant "Contemplation's task"
And the last line has four syllables but perhaps you aren't doing a traditional 5-7-5....

The food we cannot see is spiritual food and your poem reminds the reader to feast on spiritual food, food not seen. Your last line is a perfect ending to your words. Excellent poetic form and use of words.

Roy, I don't have 6 stars, or you'd get them. Your poem is tantalizingly short, but beautiful because Jesus is all we'll ever need. You say this in your poem. What a wonderful feast it is--it starts on earth.
Have a wonderful week, Roy,
Blessings, Cindy.
