Nice story, I enjoyed reading it. I like the way you describe the kids in this dreamy atmosphere, it's really well done. The fact that kittens become real kids and show up your lack of knowledge of modern children is really funny. I'd be in a similar situation if this happened to me. Best of luck with the competition
