I appreciate your notes explaining all the possible connotations of "old fossils." Indeed, there is a lot of "hot air" being blown about this summer. In my state, we will be able to vote by mail and I'll vote as early as I can, then clap my ears until races are over.

We have our national election in NZ on 19th September. I think postal voting, and doing it as early as possible like you suggest, is a great way to avoid the fuss.

Thanks for your good wishes. It would indeed be a good thing if those "old fossils" had the hot air taken out of them. I think some will be left feeling somewhat deflated after the election.

I appreciate your review. American politics is for sure a RICH old man's world. That country deserves better representation.
