Nice flash fiction. It leaves a lot to the imagination. Like why did a lecturer want to see someone he didn't even know. Of course with so few words allows we have to imagine, but I think you could turn this into a longer story. It is an interesting scenario.

    It does leave a lot of questions- maybe more of the woman wishing she could kiss a stranger.
    It may not be a class room- so not older man/ student.
    I was thinking about where I used to work. I was a research scientist and papers were presented in lectures all the time.
    That being the case, they probably knew each other.

I liked it and the way the story flowed nicely. Very well done with the imagery. I got a clear picture in my head. Overall I think you did a really swell job.!

Well written and you did what was required of the contest. This contest calls for flash but I think the restrictions on it (they being strangers and 100 words), prevents the actual 'Flash' element at the end.

You did well with what you were given.

Today this would be called sexual harassment. LOL! Kissing the lecturer. (Just kidding) I thought that this was a very sexy story. It was the 100 word dash and you did it so well. The story had everything, it was exciting to read. I enjoyed it! -January L.

    Sometimes a kiss is just a kiss.

    We have these unexpected moments - when we connect with someone. Not a kiss probably but just a knowing. It is brief but you will take it out many times just to remember the feeling.

    And why does everyone think it is a school. I worked at a company,
    where I did research. People would come to lecture - to present papers.

    In my mind it was consensual.

    I was just kidding with you... everyone says that everything is harassment these days- when it's not. That's why it's funny. This was just an innocent kiss. simple as that. I thought it was beautiful.

    IT was my intent to write about a beautiful moment. This woman yearned for this kiss and Because this is fiction. I gave it to her. Lucky girl. Lol

A very well-written hundred word dash about the attraction between two people that leads to a kiss and that was the only moment they shared and then they go on with their seperate lives

    I think a lot of us have a moment w someone. Not necessarily a kiss.
    But it made such an impression that you never quite forget.

    Haven?t we all have those moments, a connection that happens- not a kiss per say- but someone that makes such an impression that you remember them the rest of your life.

I'm not sure if you intended me to, but I feel a definite chill emanating from this story of a potentially stolen kiss. Obsession can be unpredictable in some people. What are this woman's limits? She makes me uneasy.

    I can see your slant. I reread and it made me feel a little uneasy.

    My intention was sometimes you make a connection- have a moment w someone ( not usually a kiss)

    It stays with you.

    Let me give you an example from my own life. I got my first kiss at 13, where I was attending a summer cape. I was waiting around w a counselor to go on a horse ride. He gave me a kiss. Then we went on a horseback ride through the woods with a group of other counselors and campers. It was sweet.
    The funny thing I can not remember his name. I never saw him again. But I will always have that memory to remember .

Oo. I think the lecturer risks more than you - at that's assuming you are over 21. If you are under, he risks a lot more. "Don't stand so close to me..." I am not too sure if dalliances come in 'simple'.
I think you may need to check your word tally as I manually counted 101 and the contest is not indicating if the target is flexible.

    I will check the spelling.
    I think I will take out the word simple and that will correct the word count and meaning.

    Not my intention to write a creepy piece. It was about a kiss between two strangers.

    I was actually thinking about my first kiss from a boy at camp, who I never saw again.

    The setting in my mind was a cooperate setting. I worked for a large company for over 20 years. Before the sexual harassment lectures hit.
