This was a beautiful short story. Your emotions within the poem were obvious with the tone and very well written. I am sorry to hear about your loses, but glad that she made you happy while you had her.

What a touching story. We, too, had to part with our dearly beloved cat, Jessie Belle, due to throat cancer. There was no hope for her. I love that you wrote this beautiful tribute to your quiet little kitty.

Thank you. We thought she was a rag doll, but our vet said she was just "an ordinary long hair." We thought of her as "special long hair." She was gorgeous and very loveable.

The shelter labeled her as a short hair, but she was a rag doll tuxedo and a very big one😊if you look at my story a for the contest a glimpse of heaven you will see that she was exactly what I said😊

I've always said that cats are little angels in disguise. Mine have carried me through many bleak times, too. It's heartbreaking when their time comes, but we must remember what my vet tells me: They had a better life with me than they would have had without me. You and Pisa were meant to be together. What a blessing she was!

They are indeed like precious little family members. These furry friends, like dogs, have a calming and soothing effect on us. I'm sorry for your loss. I know that when you find the right one, they're virtually irreplaceable. I also know that you'll find another one that'll steal your heart again.
