Thank you so very much for this lovely review and all those pretty stars, Gert. I'm delighted you enjoyed this one. I'm learning such a lot as I research the animals for my ABC book, so I'm hoping the children that read it, will also enjoy it. Thank you again, my friend. It seems very comprehensive the information re the iguana- not my favourite animal ! but having read this very well focused and written account it's reawakened my interest - didn't realise these creatures were seriously endangered

I'm so pleased I've caught your interest again in the iguanas, Zanya. The more I'm researching these different animals, the more I understand the importance of each one to the well being of our planet. Thank you so much for reading this one, and the lovely review. I do really appreciate you. :)) Sandra xx

-Very good artwork and photos, Sandra.
-A good poem and interesting facts, too.
-I never knew so much about iguanas.
-They have some very handy features,
like all the colors and the extra eye.
-That would come in handy.
-I also never thought of them as sociable
creatures, although I know people do
have them as pets.
-As with many of our animals, it is
a shame that habitats are changing,
making their species endangered.
-Well done!

Aw, thank you so very much for the lovely six stars, dear Pam! At first I wasn't sure about using the iguana, but once I looked into them, they are quite interesting. Eric will love the third eye. There isn't a lot of choice for the letter I, so it's good these were okay! It is sad that many of our animals are dying out, mainly due to us. Thank you, my friend, for this lovely review, I really appreciate it. Sending you a big hug, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Sandra. I figured it would be an iguana, and come to think of it, I can't think of other animals with 'I' either:) Eric will like the extra eye, too.

Hi Sandra,
Very nice. It's always tough when the kids are very aware of their own capabilities and can be very frustrating. This is good.
They are black in colour, this helps to keep them warm whilst swimming in the cold ocean. - maybe change this to which (perhaps in danger of a run on here)
All the best

I think this is a labor of love...I pray your little grandson likes it...for course he will. You brought tons of imagination in these writings, and also, the grace to write all for the perspective of a child.

They are also eaten by natives as a treat. You brought the thing to life and full of info this old man never knew. I hope the lad is making a copy of this. Better yet perhaps a children book would be great.
Good One Sandy.

Good morning, Chuck! Thank you so much for your lovely words and the pretty sixth star! What a lovely surprise to wake up to this morning. I did see that these were eaten, I wonder what they taste like. Chicken? Everything else does, lol. I know a lot of people have them as pets. So, I left out the fact that they are eaten in case it upset them!! LOL. I'm so very pleased you enjoyed reading about them, I'm hoping Eric will as well. He doesn't know about this yet. :)) Have a wonderful day, my dear friend. :)) Sandy.

This is another amazing entry that will be found in your children's book. It is obvious that you spend a lot of time researching and writing each animal's story. These are very enjoyable and will make a treasured volume.

What a noble endeavor. One of cousins had a pet Iguana that was green. I was amazed at its size.
That dewlap gives them a creepy look. Kind of like turkey neck on old people.
Love your hubby's quirky artwork and your fact-filled rhyme.
