Well done my friend, so few words that explain so much, the art work is beautifully done. I hope you do well in the contest

This is a really good start to your sojourn here at FanStory. Using the 5-7-5 format you ingeniously found a way of inserting a cross rhyme, yearning/returning into this. I imagine it was this little poetic twist that swung it for you with the judges. I hope you go on to other successes in contests here.

This is certainly amazing imagery used here. In addition, it never ceases to amaze me that so few words can convey so much. I loved reading it, thank you for sharing. PM

A timeless sentiment that spans across so many classic novels, stories, and poems of painful longing or frustrated yearning. I loved the way this was put together and it matched the art nicely. I enjoyed it very much.

Well chosen words to express a philosophical question in these short lines. What does make certain minds click and yearn in specific ways? Congratulations on the win!!

Hello Opal Rose
It begs to question. why the longing gives one a ravenous yearning and seizing your thought, why does it seem evermore and eternity is great rhetorical question.
Welcome to Fanstory
Gert
forevermore; why

Opal,
Ravenous thoughts or desires of the heart are never sated. They may sink below the waves of conscious thought for awhile- but reappear with a gentle ferocity that takes ones breath away.
I was really taken with your piece.
Well done.
And this poet. Yearns for more.
