The moral lesson of the story is very timely in modern world where lot of people are too afraid to say what they want, because they think less of themselves. I would suggest to use other animals in references since cats generally are still afraid now of dogs to convey the moral lesson in effective way. Well done.

A clever fable illustrating how we can become cowed by others - or in this case dogged. Either way, a loss of self-worth can equate to a loss of one's own personal voice. How glad I was to read that the cat got her meow back. Many don't.

I just love this sweet little story...my youngest granddaughter will like it. It is lovely, simple and it says truthful things. I like the moral as well, I am quite, or I was so quiet, now I speak out, or I write a lot, to let myself be heard.
