In Amazing Animals, D is for Dinosaur, has it all. The description, the poem, the pictures, and the history lesson all work well together.

What kid isn't fascinating with dinosaurs! I'll bet Eric particularly enjoys this chapter. I know I did.
A terrific poem with some great notes. Don't you hate having to fill up these boxes when you can't think of anything intelligent to say? Hugs, Lou

LOL! Lou, you are so funny. Next time you are stuck for words, you can just rant on about how talented, gifted, amazing, modest, incredible lady, I am. LOL, that'll fill up the boxes!! Thanks, Lou, you're a gift from the gods! Big hugs. Sandra xxx

Hahaha - that's a terrific idea. One good thing about this virus is I feel so much closer to my 'foreign' friends like you. We're all in this together.
-
We absolutely are. I'm glad you liked my idea, remember that next time!! LOL. This pandemic is driving everyone crazy, and it's not over yet. It is nice, in a weird sense, to know we are all in this together. You keep your sense of humour, Lou, it's one of the nicest things about you. There are lots of other things as well, of course, just that you haven't told me about them yet!! LOL!!!
-
Hahaha - you just cracked me up. Well, of course I'm very modest, which is the first thing you need to know about me. And, of course, I'm extremely intelligent and one of the nicest people you would ever meet. I never lose my temper nor do I ever get angry. If you don't believe me, just ask my husband. However, don't expect me to give you any contact information for him. You can go through me to ask him any questions, LOL.

Sandra, thanks for this excellent children's poem about dinosaurs. I need to go back and re-read what the creation scientists think about the history of dinosaurs. I don't believe that the millions of years ago theory makes any sense in connection with the Bible story of creation. Thanks for Sharing!

I am not sure which I enjoy the most, well of course I am sure, your writing Sandra, but I am sure your husband is having a great time drawing the picture. These are well done by the way. I find the poem delightful and rather educational and then you follow it up with more knowledge. I can see Eric truly learning from this, great job, be well, be safe, big mental hugs and a masked smile. Alie.

Thank you so very much, Alie, for this really wonderful review. As I've often told you, your reviews bring a smile to my face. Now you're doing the same to my husband! lol. I'm delighted you are enjoying these ABC letters. Sending you a masked smile back (lol) and a virtual hug! :)) Sandra xxx

Another of your fascinating animal species. The brain sizes are an interesting fact. I wonder if it's the way the brain is used that counts. A dog's brain is far smaller than ours yet they continue to surprise us at their abilities in the field of medicine, help and detection, etc. Apparently we humans only use a small percentage of ours? I find it amazing to think of an animal weighing many tons with just a pea sized brain.
I'm sure your young reader/s will be as fascinated with these facts as I am. Kind regards ~Mel~

Thank you so much for reading my letter D, Mel. The brain is really fascinating, and I went deeper into it by seeing how big the elephants brain is, 4 times the size of ours but although they have amazing memories, we are more intelligent. :)) The ant, on the other hand, is the most intelligent of all insects, and if it was to grow to be as big as us, they would rule the world!! Hmm. There's a thought for you! lol. Thanks again, my friend and have a lovely day! :)) Sandra xxx

How lucky to have a resident artist. :) Dinosaurs seem all the rage with small boys at the moment. I've never been very attracted by them but that's okay.

Hi Judy, thank you for reading letter D. I had to have the dinosaur, because as you say, children love them. I know a few adults who are rather into them as well! Stay safe, my friend, and have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xxx

Thank you so much, Irish, for your lovely review. Yes, cheeseburgers definitely count for bigger and better brains! LOL. I will be using Graham's artwork, everyone has been complimenting him, bless him. (it's getting hard to live with him now!! lol.) Take care, my friend, and stay safe. :)) Sandra xx

I like the way you present these chapters, short poem with the key facts and often a touch of humour thrown in and then the heavier stuff in a short article.
