Hello, my friend,
A fine entry for the Mirror Mirror writing prompt contest. I know what you mean... I think a lot of people can relate to your poem. Well done. I like the presentation too. :)

I love the perspective and narrative in this piece!! I love the artwork along with it, as well. My favorite part is the final 2 lines, but particularly the closing statement, "I only became an elder me!" Embrace that inner child my friend. Great piece of work!! :)

This is the question, how we can stop time?"When did I become an elder?
I only became an elder me!" Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings and the contest.

A very well-written poem and reflection of what we see in the mirror when we get older is not always what and how we see ourselves in our minds. The body perished over years but the soul as me mind stays young forever.

Yes lol this is me lately. Just staring and analyzing every wrinkle. Trying to figure out when this happened. Getting old sucks. I hate it. I liked this piece a lot. It was well written and I think most of us can relate!!!
