Oh, I like this very much! "Autumn rises," "Summer falls."
I especially appreciate your last line, "leaving warmth behind."
This is really what happens, but I never thought of it that way. You picked a brilliant autumn picture, perfect for your poem.

Thank you for your wonderful review!🌞

This is a lovely poem with so much to say in such a short poem. With Autumn rising, Summer gets lost and the sun is covered. The warmth of the day is no more. Your poem is right. Well done. Respectfully, -January L.

Ohhh! This is such a clever little gem I don't even know where to begin. I love it! The idea of the beauty of fallen leaves being 'warmth' is fresh and original, yet when you think about their colors, they're perfectly described! Best of luck in the booth.

My pleasure!

A very nice 5-7-5 poem about fall. You sum up the transition from summer to fall in a few words. Autumn is my favorite season--Halloween, local football and cool nights thrill me. Then I remember winter is coming. Lol.
Your poem has the correct syllable count. Excellent work. Best wishes,
Cindy
