After all that worry, she's totally okay! LOL. Social media has a lot to answer for, but in this case, no it didn't. I loved all the lead up, the worry, the apologies and in the end she's the girl of the moment! Well done, this was a wonderful script! Good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

Studded with little quips, this really trips along and you had a great twist at the end; very humorous. It really is a tale of expectations and misinterpreting communications that classic comedy is based on. This kind of device goes back to ancient Greek drama and it still works today. estory

I like this fun short script. Yes. Social media can get us into trouble sometimes. But you have to be really a party type to get into that kind of trouble. I like the happy ending.
Well done. I will post some more scripts, too.

This is a really fun story full of dread and anticipation of what the misdeed is and then the fun twist at the end. Well written story that held interest throughout.

I like this short script with a becoming solution. The surprise ending was a good ending. I am scared of those needed in my arms as well. I guess alcohol helps o stabilize the senses. Just saying...

Glad you enjoyed dancing the twist! This is based on a true event re the IV bar bet--in real life the boss pretended not to have heard about it; he did call her into the office but instead of firing her, as she expected, he gave her the tote bag! Cheers. LIZ

Love it! I like how you set us up for a downer but then you surprise us with a happy ending! And I would like someone like Charlene to be my phlebotomist as I often ask for a child's needle because they can't find my veins!

Soo- funny! Between Charlene's mother and Her dialogue, and the final revelation at the end, these characters grab and hold the readers' attention until we're released and relieved. Great job!

Thank you Bill! Bonus appreciated; even more appreciated is your letting me know how much you enjoyed the play. Glad you got as much of a kick out of the reading as I did in the writing. Cheers. LIZ

Great title. Mom's sure up to date on what can be done on a fax machine. The use of alliteration in the exchange is the humor. Nice twist at the end and believable too when her boss stands in awe of her bold trick.

Thank Shari--glad you were entertained. I had such fun writing this script--originally just a story wherein only the daughter spoke, as if in response to her mother and her boss, whose words she relayed to the reader. Cheers. LIZ

Funny story which rings true about a Facebook post coming back to haunt someone. I like the fact that this time it had a happy ending. Thanks for sharing this one. Good luck in the contest.
