Hi just in time for the safety from the storm. It must have been a great relief. I have seen what a storm really is. Very graphic , the details are full of country side imageries, I love them...like my village back home which has become iconic for me and my inspiration.

Excellent AABB rhyming. Your riding shows a canter-like rhythm throughout your poem. I enjoyed your theme for the club. We Aussies are all about horses. I started riding at age 5. Thanks for sharing a colourful set of quatrains.

It is nice to hear from another horse lover. I think my grandfather gave me my first pony around five and I've had a horse ever since. I am glad you enjoyed the ride.

This is so beautifully written. I enjoyed it very much!
I felt the connection between the horse and rider. I experienced everything you wrote. My favorite part was the barn scene watching it rain. I was THERE, I could see and feel ad breathe the rain.

No matter what kind of poem it is or was supposed to be, I absolutely love it. I could feel the rhythm of your horse's hoofbeats as I read along. I'm fact, I could almost feel myself riding a horse. I'm glad you got out of the rain!
