I just loved this, mainly because I cast my mind back to my daughters learning to play, the elder is that sort of musician that Piper is, but has had distractions since studying for her degree, and the younger has the same talent, but quit in high school, beautifully written my friend, blessings, Roy

Hi Roy,
It is so good to hear your daughters play and are so good at it. I'm glad at least one stuck with it. Thanks for the encouraging comments about the writing.

This is an interesting story. I think this is the first chapter I have read of it. I like the characters you created and the dialogue is excellent. I did not see anything to make any suggestions. Great job. Shirley

Shouldn't it say veranda? Yes, it does make sense that he concentrates on music so much that he doesn't notice anything else. That's a good point, kill multiple birds with one stone. :) Lady Spring sounds awesome. All in all, another great chapter. :)

Hi May 1,
You are so right, it should say 'veranda.' I corrected it. Thanks for catching the misspelling and letting me know.
I appreciate your analysis and the encouraging comments. I am glad you like Lady Spring.

Wonderful!! And leaving us hanging at just the point that we don't get the 'bee details' (LOL!) but such a lovely saga... I can just picture Lady Spring (sure you probably gave a definition in the parts I missed, but I missed 'em - lol!) as she flows rather out with the tray.... and, oh, the birds and their reaction to the music! I just loved the heck out of this one, W.J. -- perfect! :) Yvette

I need to understand you(r) capabilities. It sounds like Piper has arrived to where he is supposed to be. His music will only get better with such teachers to guide him. His music is so sweet the birds atop to listen. I wonder if the Mocking Bird could copy his music. Well done Debi.
