Geoff,
Wow. What a lot of information! I really hate to see your poor head would AND your leg wound. I sure hope they are all healing exactly as they are supposed to.
One tiny note:
--> Nursing to come and re-dress my post-cancer wounds.at home.
--> remove that early period/full stop
Thanks!

Yeah Robyn, thanks for that catch. I think it happened as I posted the sentence as something to work on later and obviously forgot that pesky period.

Have you looked into Keto? We did Keto for awhile. And marketing in the the USA is crazy. When I worked at the other job that I left last year companies would pay more to get better placements. And I'm glad your taking your cancer stuff seriously. That's scary for sure.

Thanks for coming by. Yes a friend was on Keto for a while. Seems she might be going Gluten-Free again as she was before. Her and her hubby lost a lot of weight on Keto. I am happy with the Gluten- Free diet and appreciate as I said someplace else the "faddists" in USA that go on diets for the fun of it as they have made it possible to get more variety in foods for Gluten-Free that was not possible before.

Oh dear, this explains why I've haven't seen you on my pages for the last two weeks. I just knew you'd be down a bit with this. Who wouldn't? Prayers and hugs your way this day. :)
That's great about your weight loss help and for getting your wound cleaned and dressed. It is no small task and Ive asked the Lord to ease your burdens. The government's aid for your dietary supplements is admirable. We don't have anything like that here per se. If the socialist get in power, it will be madness and everything will be government run. We are already failing in this department because of the Obamacare takeover of our private health insurance. I currently don't carry medical insurance due to the mandates that nearly wiped out my small business. For my last year of insurance, (2018) the bill was $1,815 a month for Jackson and me. Yep, a month. Jackson is on Medicare now and I will be following him after I turn 65 later this year. In the meantime, I pay for all my medical expenses with cash and my previous Health Savings Account still set aside from the pre-obamacare days. Thank God, this health savings account has proven to be a blessing. My friends and relatives who do not have such an account are barely making it. Many can't afford to go do the doctor.
A few nits.
Remove period between "Post-cancer wounds(.) at home.
Over-the-counter is hyphenated.
Sending you both my best today as always, Sal xoxo

Thanks Sally will get to your stuff soon. I dunno why I left that period in there Robyn Corum picked it up too. Yeah I heard that Obama Care thing was making emplyers pay. Our Medicare is better here where taxpayers pay 1.5% of their taxable income per year for Medicare Pensioners as we are, are exempt of course. Get to your stuff again soon.

No worries, dear. If I had a hole in my head, what left of my brains would have leaked out overnight. Be well. Sal xoxo

Will work on these suggestions I just posted on Facebook that hymn I quoted in one of your poems.

I read your ramble and I'm stuck by all the inconvenience you are having due to the site where the skin graph was taken. Also it is too bad you also have the diabetic problem. I can't tell you about the stores. Here we have many major stores that compete and prices vary and also the brands they carry. I look for the best prices on the internet and order a lot of specialty items like the soup and shakes you mention. Does Australia have government subsidized medical care? Here we have very expensive health insurance we have to buy. After we get older, we get a break with Medicare which we paid for when we were working. Some of the candidates running for president are more socialistic and want Medicare for all. I've heard we are one of the few countries that doesn't have government health care for all. My prayer is for healing quickly for you and no return of the cancer.

Thanks Beth I think the Obama care thing where employers had to pay was wrong. We have Medicare where taxpayer's pay 1.5% per annum of their taxable income for Medicare. There is private Health insurance we only have that for ancilliaries for physiotherapy, Dental and Glassesbut now my wife is on NDIS which you might see in my book and I am on My Aged Care seeing I am 69 next month these cover major medical stuff as the Government would rather keep- us out of Nursing Homes as that costs a lot more. We'd rather remain in our own home anyway.

I'm sorry you're struggling with your wound a skin graft. I think Louise has done a wonderful thing , a quite brave effort even if it needed a medical solution. The things that transpire overseas, regarding goods in supermarkets would be different, well done Bro, good to hear from you. Well done, blessings, Roy

Good to be able to return one of your sixes, Geoffrey. It sounds as though you've had a hard journey medically. I hope the eventual outcome improves your quality of life.
Some interesting information about supermarket chains. We tend to use the smaller ones such as Foodland and IGA, as they stock a greater range of Australian product

Yes Tony we were using our local IGA quite a bit while they were good with Gluten-Free stuff but they have discontinued that seeing they were not selling enough. I guess Fleureau(sp?) peninsula is more rural so I understand using the IGA and so on. IGA was formerly David Holdings back in the 80's. In those days Grace Bros Department stores that had supermarkets were stocked by David Holdings. I wrote about my time at Grace Bros Parramatta now all Myer but for how much longer? I talked about that in my biography. (Little Dog)

Although our health care system does seem to make things hard for us at times, it seems to me it is far superior to the American system. I'm on another site where members write quite often about how difficult it can be to access good health care there. Good luck with your healing.

Thanks JudyE good hearing from you. Have met a fairly new member today from Pakistan. Have enjoyed reading a poem and a very interesting story he did for a contest. Yes I understand our Aussie Health system is superior to a lot of them.

I have only my best wishes and prayers to offer you! Stay strong and keep putting up the good fight! Good to know the Australian government is helpful in such matters and you got the nurse to come at home and proper food required for your condition as well! And yes, the wholesalers do pay supermarkets and stores to keep their product in prominent places and close to the counter as well! Its a common practice all around the world even in Pakistan where I live! :-)

Seems the white Aussie folks dowanna drive the taxis. I have posted about them in my book if interested look towards the end of The Little Dog That Wouldn't let go my autobiography.

Yes, indeed, I am new here and only been here a month or so! Yeah, a lot of Pakistani people in foreign countries ply their trade as taxi drivers! Its a common trend I suppose! I would love to take a look real soon! Have a good day :-)

This reads like a well-organized letter. I was intrigued by the conflict between Woolworth's and Apple and went and looked up the logos. I guess the Woolworth's we used to have in my home state was a different chain altogether, with it being more like a drugstore, with several home goods as well. I had not heard of radiotherapy before, so thank you for some new vocabulary. Good luck with all the grafts and adjustments.
