This is a cute little poem. The format is a new one on me. It is an excellent contest entry. The rhyme scheme is imaginative and the picture works well with the words.

Thank you! I've never written one of these before. There are soooooo many different poetry forms, I usually stick to free verse with occasional rhyming.

Interesting. I've not seen a Pleiades poem before in which enjambment is used, running the lines on from one to the next. You describe a familiar scene!

I am not familiar with Pleiades poetry at all, this being my first, so it's no wonder mine is a bit weird.
