This is outstanding. The humor is in the photo, as well as in the play on words, with the use of "butt" instead of 'but', referring to the nosey neighbors being a pain in the ass. I live in a five-story apartment building, and the neighbors to my left, are constantly commenting on every little thing I do or say. They're really annoying, and I needed a good laugh by reading this today. This shows perfectly, visually and poetically, how nosey neighbors can get. Beautiful presentation and message.

I certainly agree with you Jesse, neighbors can be "very" annoying. Over the years I've had a variety of different types. One that sit on his front porch and spied on every move that we made through binoculars...LOL. I've lived in the country all my life so my neighbors aren't real close to me, but to damn close at times...LOL...I guess it doesn't really matter where we live, they will eventually get to us one way or another.

Today is the day of the week I am home all day by myself, and the neighbors hate it when I talk to myself while on Fan Story, or writing ideas for future poems. How funny. We had a nosy old lady next door who would peek at our house by lifting a flat on her Venetian blinds ever so slightly. We started waving at her when we saw that lifted slat. We had no idea what she thought she was going to see! Cute poem and picture.

I keep several hilarious pictures stored in the photo section of my computer just for contests like this one. When this contest was announced I started going through them and when I saw this picture the words just popped into my head.
