Smart way to deal with Black. Aaron knows what he's talking about and the dragons are right to follow his advice. Kindness breeds kindness. That's true for dragons, dogs, and PEOPLE. But we don't act on it, sadly.

Thanks. Aaron is pretty smart. He may have made up a story to get them to give Black a chance, but it worked.

They're all trying to teach Black to be part of a team. That's so sweet, bringing him food. The trench beneath the log is a great idea.

I'm wondering if these little dragons will become big, scary dragons. If so, Aaron doesn't have a lot to worry about when that happens. Love all the descriptions of the different little guys.

Thanks for the six! The little darlings are going to get bigger. They might even prove useful.

You've set yourself a stiff task, keeping all these dragons in play at the same time - and still two more to come. I'll be interested to see how you handle it. So far, you've managed to develop separate characteristics for each, which helps with the interplay of emotions and dialogue.

Aaron, the dragon master, seems to be a very wise man and Duane is able to supply the skills of a younger warrior. They're a good combination. You have helped your readers by colour-coding the dragons. Black, the potential traitor within, adds an element of tension and you are keeping alive the threat of imminent attack.

This has the makings of a good story. You have me hooked!

Thanks for the six! Once I decide who a dragon is it's not too hard to keep track of them. Glad you're hooked!

I enjoyed this chapter, Cindy. You did am goodm job keeping everything/everyone sorted out. The story is getting more complicated as the dragons grow. I like them way you are infusing the teaching of morals here by Aaron. It seems to be working. I know more danger is ahead. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully with Love, Jan

Thanks. Do you think Aaron might have made up a story to get them to give Black a chance? Yep, there's more danger ahead.

Nice, Aaron is more confident, as it seems, for he comes with another safe idea, his endeavour is praiseworthy, action continues secretly to a safer plan; well said, well done.
